i'm fannying about with an old golden tee golf video cab, going to mame it.. eventually (bought the thing this time last year)

atm i'm messing about with a few things, one of them being the coin validator, i will have a credit button to insert coins to start mame games, but i'd like to be able to drop a coin to start games too.

however i run all my machines on pachislo tokens, which are the size of a 10p, but a little lighter and a differnet metal.

the coin validator i have is a coin controls C220B, i assume i can't program it my self? i just want it to ignore all 'real' coins, and accept the pachislo tokens, if it's only programable by someone with the right bit of kit, any ideas how much it'd cost to get it re-programmed? (im in nottingham)

a klingon plus credit board plugs onto the validator, and i found out the dip switches to set the pricing, but there are a few jumpers for 'coin inhibits'
whats that about? cant find any mention of that on any klingon board manuals i find online, the boards main chip has 'NTAS, uke, V9803 -1' on it, if that's any help.

failing being able to get the C220 re-programed cheaply, i guess i could use a CF9524, i got one of these for a fruitie which had an me111 validator, the CF9524 being programmable by setting dip switches,
any ideas if the klingon board would plug straight into the CF9524, and anyone got one for sale??
