I was just wondering whats the biggest profit you've won in one day. Mine is about £180 which was made in 5 hours down the arcade by me which was mostly £8 jackpots ..

Back in my teens' I'd visit Sunspot here in Hull. It was a sort of machine test arcade and would be full of brand new machines. The arcade has gone now which is a shame as they tested vids and the odd quiz machine too.
Back then, I'd be quite a competent player on ACE machines. I'd not always win but I'd find out if the machine was playing good or bad from just £3 in. More often than not, a simple £2.00 win would be gained, gambled once to £2.20 then exchanged for the feature 'Nudge Quick'. I was so sharp i could work out the best win combination to go for on the reels or the band aid and always got the £4.80JP. Once I got this, there was a very good chance of getting the JP again from similar means before the tokens would run out. Sometimes, I'd spend over an hour playing from my initial £3 steak. Several times getting the streak for the £50 cash.
Getting a streak on ACE's £4.80 Twilight Zone has to be the most memorable as the TL Zone sample would really set you buzzing. Hopefully, with the goodwill of those who create the emulators, those who have never experienced these machines will feel what i felt back then. Truly an awesome time in the real fruit machine world.

Think ive played Twilight Zone not quite sure was it one of those machines if you held say one blue seven twice and on the third time there was two blue sevens and you held the two it would spin in like you help two of them three times ???? Might be a completly different bandit not sure. Best money maker i've come across is roller coaster because it's so easy to know when its paying out and drop a quick £27 off it. There are many other quick money makers. The most enjoyable machine I have come across has to be club twister wish this could be emulated. Do you know if it is possible??

had taken £150 on club pharo`s gold, as it was paying out i put in a quid on club roller coaster and collected lucky dip, on the 4th offer it gave me the 4 bars for £250!!!!
the barman only had £60 in notes, so gave me a post office bag to take £330 quids worth of coins home...

£475 in one day i change a £20 to coins like you do and went down our local snooker club at the time i remember one called cops and robbers a classic in it's day but cannot remember the others went on cops first a couple of quid in looking at the cashpot both at £250 in with a chance and in it came nudge to cashpot whilst that was paying i went on the other first quid gamble on the boared straight to £100 nice one i thought collected that then left went over the road to our legion and cleared another £50 out of one wilst collecting went on the other and gambled to £75 collected that made my day till i was on the way home and the exhust fell of the car

Just to balance this out with something hugely dissapointing - I thought I was doing well when i regularly had Homer's Meltdown "in the bag" for £15 MOST times i played it lmao..reading your posts I realised I'm perhaps NOT top dog after all. shows how much i know about fruities..I'm surprised Flyer lets me loose on some of these layouts when its quite clear I'm a blithering idiot

Fin thats still good going m8 can't complain about winning £15 most times you played it !!! (Wheres the bar lol) I loved that machine as well highest i've won is £80 the trick is when the board goes red collect a pound and next feature the board should be back yellow carry on for the jackpot and then you would usually get two repeats taking you up to £45. Then on the next feature get the series on the right side which would give another £30 and a couple more features which you would'nt win much so collect a pound hear and a pound there. Then it's to the bar for a start of a pub crawl ..

The best profit I can remember was 240 pound from a Riva bingo hall when the jackpots were all 3 pound + repeats. On stuff like Andy & flo, wicked willie, casino crazy ect. It took from about 7pm untill 10pm with bingo in between. The best I ever did in an arcade was 220 pound about a year later.

It was great, i finish oat 3:15 on fiday so i could get to the pub by 4:30 and it would be empty. Basically wildfire was a straight forward force for the first JP and get the invicibles after for a gaurenteed £100 sometimes £125. I did it for about 2 months so that's 8 fridays in all. Then one day i tried and it went dead after the first £25, MMMmm odd i thought. So i left only about £10 or £15 down.... I went back later and it was backing again so i tried again and it was the same. I stopped playing it after that and not long after they all dissappeared from by me.
Good thing was after playing the one in the local i could head into town and play the one i found up there. Although i only found the one up town on the last 2 weeks it was availble.... Still that was my greatest moment.
another one that would streak like a nice un was some racing based game by extreme gaming but likewise that suddenly stopped doing it so i asumed a re-chip and stopped playing that. More recently QUAKE has been very nice to me but they have all gone now, as was Pinball Lizzard and that too has gone from the 2 places i knew it existed.
The pub over the road from work had it's 2 machines replaced at lunch time with 2 bellfruits, i won't be playing them i can tell you. I think one was called pool shark or something but it was a clone of that gems one and i bet it's equally as crap. funny thing about the quake they took away from there was it has been off for the past 3 weeks at lunch time as the barman didn't want me playing it. I know this is true becuase one of my mate lives by there and said it was on every night??? Strange bloke, guess he was pissed when i changed £20 and took £68 out of it off £3

managed to get £25 out of jackpoteers, then popped up the road to bigbrother,
on my last spin i nudged down a red seven to match another red seven and amazingly big brother let'em spin, it was on a 10 so i gambled lower to a 6 and hit jackpot, stuck another pound in for the repeat, didnt get it, but managed to get up there with the 75p left in it and hit another jackpot on the bonuses

I used to have a mate who was really into Twilight Zone, I know what you mean about the streak but when this machine was mean it was real mean. Absolutely loved the samples and display though, top fruity.
I never really played it, I spent most of my time playing 777Heaven, 8th Wonder and Nudge Nudge Wink Wink...
Biggest profit for me was £8 for £100 on a clubber I can't quite remember don't think I have often made more than £100, I think you really do think you need to be in the right place at the right time with the right combo of machines to be honest.
