Keeping a running balance

What is the best way to keep a balance of your dosh when play the machines?

Count your money before you go out, notes and gold. If you are going out solely to play machines it should be easy enough to see how you have fared.
Whilst playing, play with £5 a time and keep a rough running total in your head ala card counting. You need a garment with suitable pockets.

My body warmer has deep pockets not that i fill em much now to be honest... The best way to keep a proper record is an excel spreadsheet. You can be realy anal about it and have each pub listed and machines and cross reference it all. Basically all it will show is over time you have lost money :-? Still it's fun playing them though right? And when you get the streak off a couple of quid you are on a high all night. :p

Open an acount at the bank and put the amount you want to spend in then dont take any money down with you and use the card then you cant spend more money. Make sure you dont have a overdraft LOL :wink:
