Dunno why cause it's working fine for me, tried WinXP compatability?

I tried it after you suggested it.. but still no joy! Thanks for the advice though. Really odd why some get it to work. First release I've ever had a problem with as well

That's curious. HTB on FF had it freezing on him as well, and he was using Windows 7 too. It must be an OS problem then, because I'm playing the layout on Windows XP. That can't be good. :(

Have you got everything updated? Sound drivers, Direct-X, graphic card drivers etc? That's the only other thing I could suggest because I don't know what is causing it to lock-up.

Just to let you and others know i'm using windows 7 64bit on my laptop and your Red dragon club 1600dx works fine for me.

Out of curiosity, this is a major shot in the dark but it could be a gfx card issue maybe, im on nvidia gfx maybe the ones its not working for are ATI?

Same here. Tried all 11/12 or whatever compaitility modes.

Tried disabling 3 cpu cores.

No joy.

Running 7 64bit Pro.

Not to worry, I'm sure Chris will release a new version of mfme that will fix it.

BF.

Right. If it's working for some on Windows Vista/7, it can't be an OS problem I don't think. So, let's try something else. If it isn't an OS issue, the only thing that it logically could be is a sound issue. Could people with problems running the layout see if there are any sound drivers updates available, and try installing them and see if that fixes the lock-up? Here's the link, if you've got on-board sound: http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/

If it's not the sound, it could also be that you haven't got the latest Direct-X installed. Grab the latest DirectX here: http://www.microsoft...lang=en&pf=true

Looks awsum. Yet no joy for laptop user! In your opening blog of 'hide monitor trick'!it dont have that option on my lap top any suggestions?????IDEAS :policeman:

Are you on Vista/7? If so, have a look here: http://www.sevenforu...y-settings.html

Shit sorry, didn't notice cause I've not been on FF in ages, woulda been happy to do it too, easier in future if you PM me here :)

Edit: The super trail works perfectly for me in Win7 x64 in 9.9.

Understandable, mate. FF has definitely lost its FME mojo it seems. I'll PM you on here if I need assistance in the future. Glad the layout is working for you. :)
