Okay i have a bit more time to my hands and want to start creating layouts for ROMs that havent been properly emulated yet.

What i would like to know is where can i get hold of these roms that havn't be emulated yet, the sounds and the images???

I have an idea of how to do it. And i've got all the info stored on ma comp to refer back to if i get stuck. i just need to get the ROMs that haven't been emulated yet. How can i get these???

This will give you an idea of which ones have been done..and which ones havent http://www.fruit-emu...-been-emulated/

If you ask for a specific ROM usually one of the layout creator guys on here will have them at thier disposal..and i believe there is a load of them on cliffs site as well.

Be aware though its not just a simple case of picking a rom..getting the artwork and making the machine..some of the ROMS wont run in the emulator for various reasons.

You're going to find it extremely difficult to find roms which haven't been emulated yet. There are loads of designers who have basically packed it in because they can't find anything new to do myself included. I have DVD's full of roms & flyers but still can't find anything to do which hasn't been done already.

The only thing which would help this situation is an emulator update containing a new tech, unfortunately I think we've given up all hope of ever seeing this now.

So is there any hope of getting hold of anything then? and why has the developer of MFME stopped wotkimh on it?

(following comment was before i saw ur comment dad) what would the standard party time be like??? everywhere i look i see club versions. do you have a rom for it???

Like dad said most of the creators have a ton of roms, but most of them won't run in the current emulators we have.
so don't waste your time looking for
"extremes"
"astras"
"electrocoin" roms,as none of those run.
dave (from mr p's) has uploaded some roms, and maybe you could give them a shot, they will be different versions from the ones we have already.
e.g 5p/£4 andy capp etc.
loads of roms available on the repro too.
one that hasn't been released is "club money spinner" you could give that a go if you like.

UPDATE: just had a look on bellfruit. looks really nice. definately would like to have a whack on creating this
