Why 'New' machines?
Seems to me that most clubs in my area have old machines, the most recent of which would be Club Thunderbirds...they all get plenty of play!
I would personally go for a lower rental band [if clubbers have bands :S] machine, something 1999>2001, i.e Psycho Cash Beast club and clones, Monty Python and clones, Big Brother and clones.......maybe I do have a Barcrest complex but they are popular machines
Failing that, the old Club Crazy/Fast Fruits normally does OK purely on entertainment vaule and the fact it is linked to the classic £5 arcade version.
No point in getting a clubber from the last 3 years IMHO, it will only be a clone of an older machine with a ridiculous amount of rental thrown on top
BarcrestBenito [after lots of Guinness, therefore may make bugger all sense!]

...and I bet ya can never get on them

Maybe its just me, but even though I don't play clubbers, I would prefer to play one that I'd seen around before, considering the amount of money at stake. Maybe people prefer the newer ones because they are shinier, maybe becuase they want to 'learn' the machines profile before others, giving them an advantage?
I don't know, but I'd play MPFC Club anyday
