Hi,
If theres def no coins stuck in try this:-
Switch machine off Disconnect the mech.
Switch machine on, leave for at least 5 - 10 mins.
If error clears switch back off , reconnect mech and see if the machine will power up ok.
If doesnt then could be a MPU fault.
If does great!
If re errors once you connected could be a mech or board fault.
Assuming you also done the obvious and cleaned the mech, optos etc.
Etc etc.

well i will try that when we re-open after xmas , never thought of completely removing the mech and seeing if it clears as thought it would still throw up coin mech error 10 as no mech would be detected ! but worth a shout . i have ordered another mech off good old ebay for £20 anyway (just in case). if it doesnt clear then its under a 30 day rtb warrenty anyway . also has this machine been emulated ? (reflex magic sphinx club)

right ok bit of a update for you all .
after the xmas break i went to the club and turned on the fruity only to find it coming on no prob. only to find a reel error 2 code 22 problem. it finally cleared and then was ok for about 10 mins . then it started to turn on and off over and over then it seemed to be ok and was then playable for about half a hour and then just came up with coin mech error 10 again and it will not clear even with the mech disconnected completey even if i leave it for over 2 hours . as we have bought the fruity out-right from a company it has a 30 day rtb warrentty but i just cant bloody get hold of them . any ideas gents

Does not sound good this, as it now seams to be pointing to an MPU fault, which is the mainboard in the machine, and noting the other faults you now have, it's similar to what I have seen on the Barcrest MPU4 platform.
I am guessing that as this is a Reflex machine, it will be on either the bell-fruit scorpion 4 or 5 version hardware, which luckily is still pretty common, and you should be able to find on e-bay if you are not 100% fixing the board yourself.
However, as I have next to no knowledge of the bell-fruit scorp series, will need an experienced member, like starleisure to confirm this is deffo the case.

Some spares places you can try....
http://www.coin.demo...uk/partscat.htm (Fellow member over at MPU Mecca, and always reliable with advice)
http://www.goldrushspares.co.uk/ (Another place I have used before, and reliable)
http://www.stemik.co...?xSec=9&xPage=1 (My fave, used them loads of times, and local to me in Burton)

Least it's not the whole machine that needs to go back!
Pain in the arse I know, but fortunate it's just that, and something that can be done via the post if it comes to it

Coin mech error 10 is strim alarm.
Highly unlikely to be scorpion 4. it will be the coin mech. Make sure there is no blockage in bottom sorter of mech.

There is more than just the strim alarm, got opto faults too by the looks of it, and a few other bits too, so when you see a number of faults like that, it WILL be either the MPU, or it's possible some wires are loose (Unlikley but can happen).

right just a small update , have confirmed with the engineer yesterday that it is a mpu prob and they will be sending a new board out today . so i will let you all know how it all turns out . only thing is when i had a go on it when it was working for 10mins ,i found it a little bland (not much to do ) so hope my customers dont get the arse !!!!! as they have been waiting so long to play it . has anyone else played this machine ? what did they think ? (reflex magic sphinx club ) ??????

right don't know where to start , but here goes !!!! . managed to get hold of the company and they were sending out a new mpu board to me , then got told they had to order one ????? so more waiting . in the mean time i purchased one from a bloke on e bay (pulled from a working machine etc. but been in a box 12 months )
desparate i took the chance and it came , so i fitted it in the fruit machine and it all lights up but nothing on the machine just all for lights on the mpu board and the re-set light just flashes at me ???? can some one help me with this .
also still no board from the company got told they had inadvertently shipped it out to someone else !!!!!! so are now sending one out that will be with me tomorrow 20th jan 2011 !!!!!
right now as the fruit machine is in our club it has been out of action since the 22nnd dec so nearly a whole month , so all my punters are getting stressed about it , so the other day i put the old faulty board back in re-set the hopper and good old reel 2 error 22 came up . i pulled the reel out and it re-set and was playable all night but went wrong again so hopefully new board will solve all my problems , but still need help with a few things , just to re-cap
1. mpu board not working (re-set red light flashing )
2. why the constant reel 2 22 error
3. just to top it off when it does work the coin mech can be very picky with pound coins (and i mean very picky)
4. now stuck on 30p play £250jp, it should be on 25p/10p £250jp dual stake ?
so gents if you can help with any of these issues i would love your input
sorry for rambling on
cheers
