club x roms.due to the two reel sets.and damn near closeness of the machines anyways.lol
must admit its playin pretty well.......obviously not as good...(or bad as ) the real thing.but the best available i think to date..
quite impressed with the roms... and the main feature boad itself.as stated very early pics...not tidied and no background yet.but this will be the format being used..........

Firstly you said it didnt use these roms, but dutch ones, now you are using them? Club X is nothing like PT, only the fact it has top reels... the gameplay is totally different.

just to clarify the situation.this is in the WORK IN PROGRESS SECTION
as you go along you find more suitable roms which I think would be more suited...
DAD has given me permission to alter and change his layout...
OBVIOUSLY this is not going to play exactly like the partytime machines.because roms don,t work in these emu,s YET
till they do...layout designers will endevour i am sure to get a s close a possible to the machine with roms that DO work.........
i am still on a learning curve...but do like the simple play of partytime.which can be acheived usin this rom set...and an added bonus of top reels as well...
if ya don,t like the look of the machine.or the way it plays.then its simple.save fruitemu on there precious bandwidth and don,t download it.or delete it.but there are a few grafical surprises instoer and the wip photo i posted is now radically far superior.3 people are working on this and i personally put upto 20 hours on it myself upto now.every peice of art and lamp is cut and repaired and modified by hand.
but i am sure this machine will give a lot a people a pleasant gaming experience......i am very pleased with the look and feel of the machine.....
thats why we called it PARTYTIME SUPER MULTI...the machine doesn,t exist..until now....

Good luck.....Can't knock you for trying something new...
I have played this and sure enough Club 'X' is 'in your face' but thats down to the music I think....But a simple solution, and one Madman said he is tring to do is to alter the sounds...I think there will be a whole new concept on this then.

But how can you justify the gamble system used in Club X to run a hybrid of Party Time. For starters the JP will be almost non existent, due to it being £250 and not £25. I don't think that anyone will be able to do a serious representation of Party Time until the Party Time ROMs are able to be used.

this is gonna be something to play with in the interim........
i love lo techs.and partytime is my.yes MY fave.........
i coulda easily done this and kept it on my hard drive........
but i am releasing this to the boards as a whole for anyone who enjoys lo techs..........TO PLAY.....

DD if you read madmans post it does say 'this machine does not exist until now' ....... Give him credit at least until the finished machine is out....You can see that a lot of work has gone into this....Then at the end judge it....
Madman has said these will not be the ROM's used in the final version etc..this is just a taster....Let's just wait and see hu.

possibly next 2 days or even morrow for a release

thanx for the support on this my second release...bit of an udate.......
sound rom hacking/swapping is still being looked at by a friend in the good old usa/who hacks my fave emulator of all time.....mame roms
i am also looking at using a completely different set of sounds...if this is possible....
top board is now complete as well as placements on the plasma screen
three machines have been lamped.not just the one......
and are now complete.....
just mainly now touching up and beta testing.and also doing an acompying mp3 with a background arcade noise with partytime being the prominent sounds.(hosting this on my own server)
THE REASON certain parts of the layout are blacked out is..............
the time is blacked so people will post askin why is the time blanked.
the top of the bar on fruit emu is blanked cos the real name is not decided yet and that is one of em
the bottom left and next to time is blanked cos i use bittorrent and i didn,t want anyone to know i was downloadin spider-ma n 2-lol
