Just got myself a QPS Pacman.
It's on free play and worked fine until what I can only see as being random, I get "COIN MECH ERR 10" where it plays a loud alarm. Read up on what I could I find on the error and tried leaving it for a while to clear but it didnt. Now the error is there as soon as I turn the machine on. Checked for jams but can't really see any, new to all this so don't really know where and what to look for.
Boards a BFM Scorpion 4, any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

if you have left the machine on for around ten minutes and its still the same then more than likely the coin mech is faulty.

if you need one the let me know what type you have in it and i can get a replacement.

Thanks guys. Fingers crossed it was just a loose connection on the coin mech, played it through a few times and it seems okay. As for the free play can anyone point me in the direction of chaning it to pay to play? Oh and one more thing, it has no sound, other than when that alarm was going off. Any ideas?
Thanks again

Well everythings sorted, tried a key in a lock and it brought up some stuff on the display, turns out it was the refil key (I really am a novice) and I flicked through and it was just the volume set to 0%. As for the free play, the bottom door latch was loose and causing it to hang open slightly so the switch wasnt pressed in
