Is that the 3-2 final with Stuart McCall scoring 2......If it was that was a classic final (one of the best ever). This is when footballers actually had skill (rather than fitness) as a priority. Was great watching football back then (remember Brazil 82 & 86 amazing skill which you will never see again).
PS CB1 - If you do get it I'd have a copy if possible mate!!!

100% agree. Just look at the last good England Squad 1990 and think how many players England have that would currently get in that squad = None, not even on the subs bench (today's players maybe fit yes, but they haven't the sill of a Beardsley, Gazza, Barnes, Waddle & Co). And this current side is an absolute disgrace (just look at the last World cup = Disgraceful, absolutely no effort and a real letdown to everyone including themselves). It was so bad that they should have all retired from International Football (really was such a poor display of effort that it warranted that). I think the last time I watched MOTD was when good players played in the Premiership like Cantona (best player to play in Britain) & Bergkamp (no one as good as them now, that's for sure)!!!
I can honestly say that Zidane was the last great player I have seen, and there is no-one around like that anymore (there used to be loads years ago Hagi, Zico, Eder, Socrates, Maradona, Manchini, Donadonni, Gazza, Guilet, Stokkoff, Platini just a few too many to list but players with skill). Ronaldo, Rooney & Ronaldino.....Don't make make laugh please!!!
Rant over......and cheers CB1

the majority of the cup finals from the 80's were re-released on dvd by the fa i think about 4 years ago, i picked up my 89 final for about 4 quid back then
the vhs would have been good as i remember the lead up to the final on the day and like seeing the 'road to wembley' kind of stuff too
shame about what happened in the semi's with forest, i remember watching that live.... rip 96
