Hi all

Was playing a machine yesterday (think it was called xrated)it was on £25 jackpot and i managed to get the top feature which went for only £25 and then i got another board for £10 anyway i had £35 in the bank and then on my last spin as i pressed the button the machine lifted a litte and then back down setting the alarm off after the machine reset my £35 had gone :S anyway i have complained and have been told to go back tommorow to speak to the manager.

I know for a fact that they are going to try and fob me off (they already tried to say it was in demo mode which i know it was not) has anyone got any info on what i should say to the manager as i put £15 in to get the £35.

if your amount in the bank was witnessed by a member of staff, you might have an outside chance, but most of the time they say wins not paid out in the event of machine malfunction

if your win was in real play, it would have still been there when the machine reset with the top closed.

if it was not, you probably won it in demo play. you can still put money in with free play.

Do the machines take coins if in demo mode. I think it was jigin in the rigin I once found in skeggy in test mode as it would not take coins and I bashed the start buttion in anger and it gave £5 of credits. Took it up to the max bank without it collecting and got a staff member to watch it. It just did a silent countdown of the bank he went of i pushed the door too and it reset before he came back I got £24. But Im sure if its in test it would not take coins.

I played a machine in freeplay/door open mode once in Quicksilver..i knew fine well it was but acted dumb..

Got the bank up to about £22 cos it was 10p/£5 i didnt want it to auto collect..called the lassie over and pressed collect...

She took my name etc and said she would need to get the engineer out to it...damn thought she woulda gave me it in tokens..

But i went in twice after that asking for it and she said there was no record of a payout on the machines log..i think she knew..so i just left it at that.
Mmmmmm...Sandy ive 'ad her ye know. :)

If it's a red they have a dip switch on the mpu that wipes all banks and credits from a dodgy reset,my legal tender has the option normally it's when the softwares on pub mode.
