Nah it wont be a tenner.

Most likely it will be 50p a play and a £1000 jackpot.. it will be the same old story though you will rarely see a jackpot but someone dropping in 500 on 12 winspins will probably happen..

Best feautre on higher jp machines like this is the knockouts.. if you get one from jackpot then usually you can get at least £250 - £500 on a knockout..

But if the machine let you get that far do you push for that one extra bonus that will give you a grand in pound coins (ive seen a grand in pound coins and its not pretty)

Just imagine winning the jp then using the wheelbarrow provided going up to the cashier and saying change please, only to be replied with sorry i cant change it... O_o walking down the road with a grands worth of pound coins.. how gutted would you be >_<

There will most likely be £1m jp but the stake will most likely be
VERY HIGH!! I don`t know if anyone on here has seen a programme about Las Vegas where this women won $63,000 of a $500 stake per spin Slot machine?

If so, the Jps will be upto £1m then there may be other jackpots from other machines around the casino. But these machines may be progressive JP`s and will be only available in Medium - Large casinos in Blackpool!!!

Some machines upto £5000 could be 25-50p per spin, upto £50,000 may be £1-£5 per spin and upto £100,000 may be £10 upwards then for anything up to the million may be £10+ per spin. If Blackpool is going to be the Las Vegas of the Uk then some pretty high stakes coming our way.

All machines will prob be LOW TECH like LAS VEGAS casinos!!!

Ten quid a spin... sod that...

Going to blackpool with £100 and getting ten spins on a machine ...

I would hope that three cherries woul pay £250 and how would you feel when the old 11 goes to a 12 when you went lower ?

I think i will steer clear of the casinos if it gets like that..

I hear that after deregulation in 2007 normal awp's will be allowed 50p stake and £50 jackpot giving 100:1 odds. That will make the current situation worse.

I think it'll be something low like £1.......after all Casino's have link-up (real) card games already where they just take a tiny bit of the stake and pool it....Yet the payout on the table remains the same--So how do they make the money?-Well I think it's like the Lottery, the more in the pot the more people will play therefore their profit actually goes up!!!!

I've just read on BBCi that there's going to be a tightening up of gambling laws as well as deregulation. These include fruities only on licensed premesis (curb under 18 gambling i spose) pub/club/casino etc so no more greasy buttons in ya local chippy and the new "resort" casinos will be limited to the number of unlimited (progressive) fruities they can have. This limit will be 1,250 per casion. LMFAO :)

If the win was over £1000 they may present you with a cheque and change the percentage manually.

How many reels do you reckon these things would have? The usual four or maybe five or even six? The new machines with £2,000 JP are as tight as anything so how tight would a machine with a £1,000,000 JP be? No way would anyone with any sense gamble on them because if the machine is not progressive the stake would probably be upwards of £5. I can't see them catching on - the thing about the huge Vegas Jackpots os that they are all progressive Jackpots with Stakes as low as 5¢. A £5+ £1,000,000 JP wouldn't in my mind have a large player base.

i think you would find that if the stakes are in the £5 + mark then people will put the odd £5 or £10 in if they have won elsewhere but i cannot see it creating a "hardened" player base due to the cost involved ..

how much would it cost to force the jackpot !!!!! or even 20 people all over the country trying to force the jackpot ... one wins it .... how full are the local bridges and rivers going to become after that !!

As has been said mjeffs..this'll be a progressive JP most likely,no forcing lol---it'll just pay when it's ready........therefore cost wise not much different from the standard Casino/Club machine.........

The last post was fairly silly - why would a designer do that?

Pg was having a light-hearted joke I think....it wasn't supposed to be a serious answer!
