Hi all, cant belive this is my first post and i signed up about a year ago.

Off to great yarmouth at the end of the month, my question is: where do i go and spend some dollor?
Are some places rigged more than others, where not to go, you all get the gist of what I'm asking.
I tended to stay away from the £25 and above fruits, what are the best ones below that to play?

Also like to say thank you to fruit emu, you have helped me pass time on many occations and
i thought i'd pay you back with the donation.

Most arcades along the coast are set at 70% unless u playin the £500slots.
Take in what u can afford to lose and be prepared to lose!
I was there last yr and I had areal good game on the slots.
Avoid the fun fair arcades!
Hope u have a great time and dnt lose too much!

Depends on what games you like really. Although be prepared for a lot of Party Time, Red Hot X, and DOND in all its forms.

Avoid teh Britannia pier arcades like the plauge. Very poor maintainence.

If you like the older games then california sands, scratby, hembsy, and gorleston (all not far from yarmouth) offer older games but less to choose from.

I grew up at california sands as our main holiday, it was haven, then changed to park resorts about 15 years ago, I know there is one opp the park resorts in
scratby, and some down the road leading to the beach.
Hembsy not been there since 2004 when I did a season at pontins, and payday well I never did to bad on the fruits on site, Having worked there
I knew wen to play the £5jp and always won, then the £25jp there was 2 main ones, Party Animal and Temple of Treasure, loved them both wen they
played.

They also had a simpson £25 and one of the other workers there always got jp but never know what he was doing, he got some feature and just let it spin
but it would spin for sometime before getting jp.

There was one machine that I always played in hemsby, it was in the first arcade on the left as you head towards the beach, it was a £5jp
if i remember rightly the was like a mineing game, collect dimonds ect. Any of ya know whats it called?

Hi bazza i live in gorleston dont get to play them as much even tho yarmouth is just down the road lol. Majestic arcade is i think still shut up for sale and should stay away from flamingo, golden nugget, and circus circus as these are all joined and are only open for the summer months as the family that owned them went into admin last year, and popped in there the other day and the over 18's part was shut off. My fav is Leisureland seem to win pretty good even on the £5 jackpot machines : ) hope this helps

info on going bust :(

I real think it will be the same story across the uk especialy the further north u travel-people aint got the same cash as they used to-and we are still taken in by abroad!! :skeptical: Not for me but if uve a family and can get a cheap package holiday for half the price of what an average week here would set u back, then the hol abroad wins hands down.
Most of are coastal towns are wknd places.I dont c any real future other than more places closin down.V.sad
