im using the version 2.50 yet every now and again it locks my system up when i play some of the old layout
i`m using win xp and have a athlon 2000xp with 768 DDR so i dont see it being the machine as the problem

Hmmm,

Im not sure but these might be Mute layouts,

Which means Layouts with no sound ROMS will not work correctly in JPeMu 2.50 and will cause your machine to freeze,

Have you tried re-installing the emu?

Or even re-downloading the layouts

Hi

I too have had problems running some layouts on this version of the emulator, My machine is a Celron 2.4ghz 512mb ddr ram I also find that the layout locks up, however it only locks the layout not my whole machine, and it seems to mainly happen on mute layouts.

tried reinstalling the whole lot and still got locked out after about 10mins on the layouts
