Nice first post. Welcome to the forums.
Why do you want to do a layout? Is it for your glory or for the scene's? lol
Seriously, theres plenty of help for those who genuinely want it but to be realistic, those who post and make an effort to be part of this place come first with the nurturing. A first post shouting 'PLEASE HELP ME!!! CAN SOMEONE HELP ME GHET STARTED AND TELL ME HOW TO MAKE MY OWN LAYOUTS PLEASE ' somehow seems a little rude.
Maybe if you list some reasons and also a little info about yourself, anyone who may be inclined to give help may be more likely to if they think their teaching time may be a waste of time.
Not being rude I hope you understand. Just being cautious.

And shaunob...Compost is one of the most helpful guy's around so if your reasons are positive--don't take his answer the wrong way.....
PS.........CC if England were to have won Euro '04.....did you have a pic up your sleeve?...........let us see it if so!...Please!!!

lol, funny you should ask mate. I did indeed have a pic. I binned it in disgust after the quarter final flop. After watching the final though I began to regret it as it was a little gif of the phantom streaking across the pitch with nothing except the England flag around his shoulders.
Heres one I was gonna use for the World Cup Qualifiers. I dropped it though as the qualifiers ain't important. Still, who knows. With the Olympics coming up, the Phantom may take up some events.
