File Name: Globals Bangin Away Dx

File Submitter: Tommy.C

File Submitted: 07 Jun 2011

File Category: MPU 4

Here we have a 1280 update of this absolute poo machine from global Posted Image bottom decalse have been redrawn to make it £15 jacky,not that it makes any improvement to the game play.I've also replaced the fruit decals on the top glass,as the ones on it were shite.What can i say,i'm keeping this layout on my HDD for today only incase theres any problems arise,then it's GONE.Worst machine i've ever played,it may only be virtual money but i felt myself getting mad last night whilst trying to fill it up.Board,game over,board,game over Posted Image Anyway it's been updated not that i really think theres that much of an improvement,as everythings small as hell on this machine.big thanks to ady for sending me a bmp scan of the flyer,which helped when replacing the top glass fruit wins,Ploggy for the global reel piccies he sent me and to RB for the 1024 which i borrowed for lamp numbers,thanks to all Posted Image.

Shortcuts are usuals then.......

G= Go with Global

N= Nudges

B=Bonus

Then Num Lock 1-5 for the Feature zones.Was gonna say enjoy but i doubt you will Posted Image

Thanks for this bastardised version of PCB :) The usual lazy Global coding although this is actually one of their better machines. The length of time it takes the first zone to illuminate when you first get into the feature tells you how good the feature will be. A long delay often means jackpot, a very short delay means you won't be Bangin' Away for very long...

Oops forgot to thank you last night for this Tommy. So erm Thanks :notworthy:

I quite like it, never played it before, didn't take long to realise it was a PCB clone, seemed a bit tight to get it going but I've had a JP plus repeat out of it, plus a Nearest win JP and also a JP from nudges on the board. So £60 out from 30ish in.

Top notch work Tommy

I think I'll write a mini review on this one.
Thank you very much Tommy for your latest DX of Can I Help You Sir...Sorry...Bangin Away
The DX itself is very good. However what on earth have I been playing??? If machines are DXed based on their gameplay, then this one would get into the National Gallery. And that's with a TOPGUN release.
Start from the bottom. You got your trail and everything. Hmm. The reel stop noises are lazy and out of sync. I've got holds, but no Trail Held. If you stop the bonus back at position 4, no more bonus for you! This is worse with predetermined bonuses such as Even Winner. You get nothing!

So there we are. We've got our board. Round and round we go, it's a bit loud taking the BANGs but at least it offers a few. Watch as the reel blasts go obviously from the cheapest fruit up, and how with 10 bangs, Xtra Floor is always the last thing to be hit. Then again, don't expect much more, as the Manager will want to help you...Dear god no. The worst thing about this machine is the Manager! "Can I help you, sir?" "Can I help you, sir?" "Can I help you, sir?" time, after time, after time. The party piece of this machine, and to show the lazy coding, is when all floors are open. Generally it'll mess you about on floor 3, and use your last bang on opening floor 4. Then you land on Xtra Floor. Now the fun starts. Next spin is always Manager. Thrown out. With your Extra Life, it might go so far as to land you on Thrown Out first, and then onto Manager. Thrown out. Sometimes it might have the decency to let you survive 3 Managers in a row before deciding to throw you out. The only real way of getting the Jackpot on this machine is through having enough bangs when Floor 5 is open. Otherwise it's Thrown Out for you!
And the features! What ever happened to Psycho Cash Beast enjoyment? Don't bother with Reel Cool, the Global button does nothing, and the nudges are so few on this that Nearest Wins etc are much harder to want to do. And while I like the saucy sounds, the French accent is just incessant and winds me up to no end.

So in short, this shows how to DX a machine, but not at all how to code one!
I award Global the Black Cherries of Death for this awful machine. The next time it has a battery leak, may it be in a Robotic Shark tank.

This is a site for EMULATION purposes of older machines. Not playing strategies.

great looking dx as usual same about the repeitive game play a bit like dond feature board, lose feature board, loseetc not your fault but if i played this for real i,d be "banging away" with my boot on the cash door by the way is there any way you guys could emulate a machine where if you lose loads of money you could punch or kick and the machine would get smashed up like a dond one that'll be worth playin just like the real thing lol cause i expect every gambler has slapped a machine sometimes
The more I do today, The less I do tomorrow.
Fme is alive and screaming into the 21st century!
Enjoy FME and Happy Gaming!!!!
