Whatever, its a shit layout, badly researched, improperly lamped, and full of guesswork.

Please dont produce any layouts for my emulator, much better for my emu to be associated with quality whilst MFME gets sullied with ten-a-penny layouts produced by people who dont care enough to correct their mistakes.

You know I dont know the 1st thing bout creating the emulations-but I do know the work that goes into them and the time thats put in.
And if it wasnt for Tommy.C we would not have the vast ammount of emulations that we enjoy every month.
Yet for anyone to criticize anyones work is beyond me.Especialy when dates are given for a project,which 2week later is still incomplete.
Is this not a case of (spittin yr dummy out the pram),as your work is not ready for release?
My advice to you ,go finish ya emulator and then come back and we can all see if it lives upto the picture you paint!

Correct there mistakes,you have already said the machine is getting done by someone else with your artwork,so whats the big problem,and who do you think you are trying to tell me what i can and can't produce,how wrong can i be about people sometimes,what a first class dick you are.

So someone else is doing it so you dont have to do it properly?

I pointed out 5 things wrong with the layout, be a man and correct them would you. Its not like I'm picking on it being pixel perfect, just pointing out some issues. And instead of taking them on board like a man, you have ignored them and tried to tell me your black as f*** JPM logo was really grey if you looked closely.

At the end of the day, I was 100% correct in my observations, its not like I have accused you of something you haven't done, and in my first few posts I made it more than clear they were merely observations and not intended as a dig. I just thought you would take them on board, fix what you had control over, and release an even better layout. You ignored all that and went straight into defence mode like a child.

Also a comma or a full stop in a sentence should be followed by a space, an "I" meaning yourself should be capitalised, and what's has an apostrophe in it signifying the shortening from "what is".

If you are going to insult me at least do it in proper English.

My advice to you is to go learn spelling, grammar and punctuation.

Also if I can't criticise Tommy because I can't do artwork, you can't criticise my emulator because you haven't written one. Crappy rules I know but Mr House and Tommy made them earlier in the thread.

I have like you made an observation.
I agree that projects can be delayed,yet giving a date for something like this and then such a delay takin place,leaves you open to speculation.Does it not?

LOL, is that why you think I am upset? Believe me I am more upset about the fact you have released it with glaring errors.

As you know I sent pics to ploggy, the reason it hasn't been released yet is because he is waiting for me to get pics of the machine with the lamps on so he can lamp it properly. Yes totally my fault for not getting back to him with them sooner but at least he was prepared to wait and get it right.

As you already admitted you just guessed based on a 10 year old memory (which is odd because you had the pictures to make the layout from which you could have looked at but whatever).

Quality > Quantity.

Okay theres issues I appriciate, but I don't know what they are about as I gave up reading tit-for-tat crap a few months back.

It does, but as I said, they werent my rules

It's not a spelling and grammar test, but as this is an internet forum, people make assumptions about people based on what they see. If you post using correct grammar, full sentences, and, accurate spelling, it makes you look more professional / intelligent / sensible. Just a bit of advice, and that's not my rule, its a psychological fact on the way the human brain works.

This is the thing, there is no history between me and Tommy C. At least not that I was aware of. There was an issue with me missing a few PM's from him among the hundreds of DOND requests in my inbox. When I found out what he wanted (to ask if he could do Aladdin, by crystal), I immediately PM'd him on Dads to apologise for missing said PMs and to tell him as soon as the emu was ready I would pass him a copy to start the layout on.

My original post was merely a gentle critique which included many disclaimers that I was not having a dig, that I loved the machine, and also said many times that the cabinet stuff and decals werent his fault.

Which is much more than I got in the critiques of my layouts I released many moons ago.

This was ignored totally, and I was then accused of having a dig, and that I wasnt allowed to say anything because my layouts are crap. And then the person with a website made for critiquing layouts starts to give me a hard time for pointing out exactly the same things as he does.

So whatever, apparently these forums want things as quickly as possible and hang the quality. Maybe if poor quality pissed people off more, this country wouldn't be as shit as it is.

Yes i did have pictures,but none of them were showing the lamps on,so it's you who's assuming again aint it.

So you immediately went to the PC and asked on a forum if someone could get you a lit picture? If only there was a forum full of people who know about fruit machines who might be able to get you one.

I'm not the only member of these forums with this actual machine, let alone those who have access to one in a nearby arcade, or has a friend who has one, or has pictures of one from years past, or possible glass scans?

I simple put that you were basing your comments on looking a picture without even firing up the layout.

You freely said when you posted you had not even bothered to play it as you were at work. That I find harsh to comment on layouts based on a picture, that is where I was coming from.

Anyway, where is Amber has it been released and I missed the thread? I thought last weekend was for the dev builds to people and this weekend was for the public?

Guy's I have locked this thread as its going way off course...

When I get 5 i'll split and abyss the non release related replies and create it in its own thread.

I'm not taking 'any sides' as i'm totally unbias, I just don't think this is needed within a release thread.
