I recently had to reformat my hard drive so lost all my emulators.
I am now getting back all the ones i used to have.
I downloaded the BFMulator this afternoon so i could play club 65 special wdx
When i drag the .zip or .gam file over the emulator it comes up with loads of errors such as: can't open gameprom "65SPP2", can't open strip file "r6.txt", .ram is corrupt just to name a few!
What is wrong please?

Make sure you're using BFMulator 2.07
The ram error you're getting is because to have to specify where to save ram files in the Advanced/Emulator settings section, where it says Save Ram file to.
Which version of C65 are you using? Mine or Daysleepers?

Ok..some people have different ways to run emulations..but it dont matter as long as you get the right result.
You could try it my way..see if it helps any..
1..Download BFMulator v2.07 from here.. http://www.fruit-emu...-bfmulator-207/ and save it to your desktop.
2..Unrar it (extract to here)..and youll see the BFMulator icon on the desktop with Freeimage.dll and a history text file.
3..Download the Club 65 layout and also save it to your desktop.
4..Make a new folder on the desktop and call it say 'Club 65 DX' and move the unrar'ed layout into it.
5..Go into that folder and right click..extract to here..youll see loads of .bmp files etc.
6..Close that folder and go back to your desktop..and double click the BFMulator icon..it will load up what looks like a PCB.
7..Click on Project..and go to load game.
8..Using the drop down bar..select desktop..and find the 'club 65 dx' folder..highlight it and click open..highlight the .gam file and click open again.
9..Show progress in Window..dosent really matter..i just choose yes..but choosing no wont make a difference.
10..It might come up with an error saying ram is corrupt or summat..just ok it..and it will reset.
11..Play the game.
Hope i have simplified this a wee bit for you and made things easier..its just the way i like to run the emulations i find it the simplest way.

Oh sorry..i must have misinterpreted the question..i thought you were just trying to actually play the machine and not load a specific RAM file as such.

Seems strange that you are having problems with emulators that previously gave you no trouble before you reformatted your hard drive. So I have to ask, are you using the same OS or have you upgraded?

Thunderstorm,
Help us to help you. Tell us the outcome of following the help suggestions already posted. Example, both Dad and Todd said to use BFMv2.07, did you? The version in the image in you first post is 2.02.
Have you tried any other BFM downloads, do they work?

You'll keep on getting that error until you specify where to save you RAM files to - like I've already said.
The best place would be in the same folder where the emulator is. Say for example you've stuck the emulator in a folder called games on drive C, your destination for the RAM files would be c:\games
If you click OK on that message does the layout actually run?
