Won my first jackpot over the weekend from a Two Towers machine, I only put a pound in, span it a couple of times then it put me straight on the cashboard in IM nice little £25! (shame it didn't give me the repeat :( )

Anyone else won the jackpot on a pound or less?

I've got lucky before - became invincible and jackpot repeated. never won anything else decent though. My tactics on the machine is to prefer fruits over feature and gamble on the hi lo reel on 12,11,10,3,2,1. This usually gives you 3.60 on cash from the start

I got a "MAD FOR IT" on Crazy Fruits 5p £5, I put a 20p coin in for that, got two features... £10 :)

Best i've ever done... on the bigger machines Ive gone in with £6 and come out with £100 which was nice...

Ive lost a lot more though :|

I apologise for my awful username and previous posts from 13 years ago. I was a misguided chav.

I can honestly hold my hand up and say yes i won a £200 jp with 50p..

well 20p to be exact..

Club Lucky Strike, 50p in cos i didnt have any change and i hit 20p spin instead of 10p so i was gutted.. wasnt so gutted when it rolled in like so

-JP-JP-JP-JP i couldnt believe my eyes as id only put like 50p in... next thing i know the lights were all flashing and a theme tune was playing and i could hardly believe it..

I had to call my dad from the bar as i was only 12 at the time so i was too young to play the machine but it was the old (i was standing here while my dad was getting change) i got to keep all bar £30 which bought everyone a drink in the pub at that time and i wasnt allowed to keep it unless i did...

So at 12 £170 was a hell of a lot of money.. i bought like two games consoles and loads of games with it... now adays £200 is like 1/4 what i put in to get it so its no so much WOW its more of a ah well cool..

I won a jacky for just 30p this weekend. I've technically given up the bandits but threw a couple of odd coins into an £8JP 10p play JPM thunderbirds.

First spin gave me 2 numbers. Feature held on 2 but no holds on the reels. Second spin, gave me the 2 to land on 4 for the bonus. I landed on 'Random Stop'. Whilst pressing the cancel button to slow it down, I landed on the top of the trail 'Super Knockouts' Feature was in, pots filled slightly from 'Multi Add' AND an 'Extra Life' to boot. The 'Multi Bonus' took me up to 'Reel Steppa' so off I went. I span a few spins and advanced my nudges and cash and took the 'Reel Steppa' and counted where the JP symbols were. 7 nudges needed after I stopped the reels with a JP on reel 1. 4 nudges I had already and 1 knockout. Span and got a 1 plus added some cash. Went Higher to boost my Knockouts and got an 11. Went lower and got a 10 for another knockout. Not risking going again, I span and landed on a question mark. Got some sort of multi add and span again. Question mark again, GAME OVER. Luckily, I had an extra life so I took my knockouts and blasted them on the nudge trail at the bottom. Got the required nudges and landed the JP. Quite happy I was too. No repeat though with my last credit so I left the machine.

I've done it loads of times on the first credit, though never anything too big a win. Lots of times I've stuck a £1 in Partytime and got the jackpot.... It happens so many times on that machine that i'm sure there is more to it that just luck... I think you stand better chance of a jackpot when that machine hasn't been played for a while

I have also dont this on 25p/£25 party time.

After studying fruit machines over the years (working with them and playing them) I have found the following:

The percentage payout is higher for AROUND the first 10-20 credits on MOST machines which havent been played for a while (15-30 mins (arcade mode), 30-60mins (single site).

This is why the jackpot on party time rolls in like that.

Your first couple of pounds into a machine usually play well with features and small wins coming in. After it has you hooked it will rob you for all you are worth unless you force it or get lucky.

Next time you get caught in that cycle of I have put too much in but cant leave it, 'WAIT' in front of it for 20mins with NO credit in it before playing it again. It will think you are a different customer and give you a little back.
If you repeat the following you should recouperate most of your money except for the 10-30% the machine keeps for profit.

interesting suggestion might try that one.

My best win was jackpot off 15p it was a pub i worked in i was walking past and saw that it only needed the 15 for a credit and i had that from my tips so i thought sod it! It was powerspins £15 jp the reels didnt hold but it stuck me straight on the feature and got the features open and took wild nudges as i had 2 jp symbols quite close and on this you can hold the reels so i held the 2 and the 3rd span in only a nudge away and it gave me plenty of nudges so that was it jackpot then i had to stick another quid in from my winnings for the repeat chance and to my suprise it gave it! (ahh the golden era of £15 jackpots.................)

all the men in the family were down the working mens club when i was about 11 and my uncle was putting many pounds into the club machine(cant remember which one), my dad used to put 50 pence in and id stand in front of him pressing the buttons, he didnt know how to play it nor i, but i just hit the buttons and out came the cashpot of £39.00, i remember it well cos my uncle got all grumpy saying it was his money, my dad kept the money but bought me a new scalextric car and a model yorkie van...

my fave is jolly gems, i dont know what it is about that machine i can just drop the jackpot, im always up on jolly gems...

just a little extension to PASH's post... if i see a machine that has part credit, i cant leave it alone, its like an crooked picture, you just gotta play it, plus it sometimes means somebody has put alot of cash in it giving you more chance of a win.....

Best I ever got was £3 in one of those bar x sevens £25 30p and got 3 jps rolled in after each other.

Chuffed, totally. That day was the highest I have ever been up.

That Project coin machine 'empire' is it? The one with the climbing monkey. £6 in for £75.

The best £9 I ever spent.

Those days are well gone 8-)

Nod bad but you still had to put £15 in to get it.

On Each Way Nudge, on £5, if you force out the Crazy Streak thing [top of the feature ladder], the average is £20 from my experince.

I only have a pound or two here or there nowadays but on friday, I played a machine called Big Shot (Red Gaming) IIRC. Has a big wheel on the top glass with cash prizes, a £25 Cash Pot and 3 x GM's gives MYSTERY.

£2 in and got 3 x GM's after a hold after nudge. Pressed collect and the mystery went to the crappy £1.20. Gambled once and exchanged for feature. The machine gave me 9 Knockouts from the start and I had 2 x Red 7's in view. Of course, collected straight away and took the Red 7 blast for £25. Machine went dead instantly.

The machine seems quite poor to be honest as I've had a JP twice in total and they both seemed to come because the machine wanted to pay out a single JP. No repeats, no enriched period afterwards, no streak, just dead. It was as if the machine had got bored and decided to pay out a single solitary jackpot.

The last time I got a jackpot on this machine, I activated the hiddens (totally randomly it appears). A row of coconuts across the bottom glass started flasing. I landed the Cash Pot which was full (£25). Again, no repeat, no enriched gameplay. No streak... bugger all!
