Just a small one:
You may want to rethink your advert sources as the ones at the top spam your mailbox (known from experience as my hotmail one is over-run by them from advers such as these).
The one on the homepage is the most concerning: AdChoice is one of the adware brands. currently i'm getting one from them on the homepage for a free full version of Jewel Quest. However this is full of adware and can slow your computer right down as they are almost always downloading something and eating up your processor usage (like MyWebSearch a.k.a smileycentral).
Just wanted to give you the heads up as these aren't particularly safe adverts to display on the site
Thanks
Danny

Same here duplu,I have no idea what you are talking about.
I currently got an ad for daily bingo games at the top of this page, and one for Mcafee at the bottom....
Neither slow my laptop down.........

I think Danny is referring to the adverts found on the home page below the birthday list.
None of the ads have caused me any problems, but then again I never click on them.

srry may have explained it wrongly. Only wen clicking them and either signing up to them or downloading them i meant!!!
I just thought that it wouldn't be nice if a user clicks them and downloads something that slows down their computer full of adware of clicks and signs up to 1 and gets caught in a spam trap. They wouldn't be very happy.

I see what you mean but I don't have any control of what ads appear for the google ads.
To be honest people should take the responsibility for what sites they visit and what they download. If you click the Novomatic ad sign up and then lose a £100 on their site who's fault is that? No-ones but your own in my opinion. Incidentally I signed up and won £500 although that's not an endorsement.

The google ads are linked to your search history, so if anything dodgy appears on them then that's because of various other dodgy sites you've been browsing.

If your on 'certain sites' and you click ads IMO your just asking for trouble.
Plus if these ads are capable of installing some bot or dodgy program on to your PC without your knowledge then you AV cant be up to scratch.

They are the ads from google, nothing wrong with them.
There has been times, where their ad's system, has been poisoned, with dodgy adverts.
Fortunately for me, I have wired myself up to the hilt, with whatever protection I need (Sandboxing, VM, etc), especially noting my taste for dodgy sites.
Just because they come from Google, does not automatically make them safe, from what you seam to be implying.
