Don't actually think the machine can 'Transfer' unless you have a note accepter... the button will work, you won't be able to transfer over money like you can on the new ones today. Hope this helps

Origially the machine will of had a note acceptor, wouldnt surprise me if it still has the cable in and the whopping steel box in the bottom door, as Taylor says there only for if you have a notey if not they dont work.

Hmm yeah, i had a look in it there is a big steel power pack thing at the bottom and a few wires not plugged in where i think the money accepter would have been, probley not on it anymore as it is only £5 jackpot.

That explains why then.
N/C was fitted, but disabled, when converted to a £5 JP set up, as at one time, note acceptors was not permitted on £5 JP machines (Not sure if this is the case now mind).
As for the big steel power pack thing, that will be the main MPU5 power supply.

that makes sense lol, so i take it if i did want to fit one if i changed the jackpot value then the stuff won't be there for it :/

Basic hookups will be there, but you may want extra cabling, along with the right N/C (Probs an NV7, thought I don't know much about N/C's at all), also finding out if you need to run it in serial or parallel mode.
Also, you may need to change the roms, but others more familiar with MPU5 machines will be better places to tell you exactly what is needed.

http://cgi.ebay.co.u...=item19c71a1e6f (NV7 and NV9 and NV11 are note stackers but will not fit) NV11 is a note stacker with a recycler i.e you hit collect and will pay out £10 notes if you have in the bank £10/£20/£30 ect and your machine would not know how to run this. Due to the software has not been writen to use it. ((( TO BE 100% NV8 WITH YOUR SOFTWARE IN YOUR MACHINE AND FIRMWARE OF THE NOTE ACCEPTOR WHICH LOOKS THE SAME AS A NV10 BUT BLACK)))
One of these this is for a genesis http://www.fruitmach...r-loom-58-p.asp

You can just run the machine with a note acceptor just using these three but really do need a note run down as it stands with just these three notes will be just sitting in the bottom.
Hope this helps
