Can I Plug My Pc To My Fruit Machine?

i was woundering as when an engineer comes out they plug there thing into the machine to check its status and what its payed or should have payed and so on and was woundering can you do the same thing with your pc? i mean i can imagin you need to buy or download some kind of software.
anyway its just a thought =D

Generally they do not, and normally just rely on error codes / messages on the alpha on the front of the machine (where the credits and bank are), and led status lamps (Mostly on the power supply / mpu5 board).
The alpa comes in to play (From a techies point of view), when running the machine in test mode, using the refill key, or for fault status codes / messages.
Pretty much like looking at the display on a photocopier..... this is why it's handy to have that mpu5 field guide I pointed out to you in the other thread.

oh yeah i downloaded and printed them all and put them with my machine, one quick question i got for you though is how do i refill the machine do i need to put the key in? and also if i keep taking money out the hopper then putting it back in will the machine think there is more in the hopper than there actually is?
