Sorry for the colossal naivete displayed in the topic of this message, but I've been reading a few threads here, and even used the search function, but I'm none the wiser. What does this term mean, and why is it important?

i take it you play one-arm-bandits and bar-x`s??
a red mode or IM are terms for an invincible mode (hence the IM)
IM`s come in different flavours -
red boards (a classic is the simpsons etc)
flashing boards (king kebab)
and IM on a standard board (like the board after a jackpot on super charger, this is when the board you have is a jackpot board, but you have to play to find out, usual give away is 1,2`s and 11 and 12`s only appearing on the number reel (this has been refered to as a lock-in)

i remember getting a flashing logo on club big brother (£250 jackpot)
lmao and collected £250 from the top feature, after play went for £50 off of 12 winning spins.

I don't play one-arms, I play regular "game" fruits, but I'm no expert. And I don't think this has ever happened to me. I only spend £6 or so a session so I've never seen a red-mode. Thanks for the heads-up, though
