hi when i try to play a rom on the MFME emu it goes so slow and takes ages to start up and when it does its just so slow.
Could Somebody please help me

Access the Configuration Menu and lower the delay. Normally about 200-300 depending on the speed of your computer. My PC is crap so quite often I'll set it to 0

i hv changed it from 200 to 0 but its still taken a long time to start up. is there ne thing else i can do

Is your PC fairly slow?
Do you runthings in the background?
If you run things like winamp in the background it will go slower.... close all stuff before playing and if that doesnt work, boost the spec on your pc

If it's just the start-up now and dad sorted the running problem and it run's fast enough it may help to look at it in this way.
As the ROM's are the 'real machine' can you imagine switching it on at the mains, it then has to configure itself each time to check all is in order. This is exactly what the Emulations do so this is in fact normal and you have nothing wrong....eg the Alpha display will read jibberish and the reels can jitter.

i understand that they're like the real machines but once its on start-up which is on the display then it dont come off and i waited for 5mins then realised that it were'nt working. i still have the other emulators working but there ant as much roms which i want,
