incase you didnt know -

www.suprnova.org are hosting a torrent with all the upto date mame roms (0.84) (look in GAMES - then ROMS (you can find every game for pretty much every console here but for legal reason i dont recommend leeching everything as ISPS are seriously checking what ya upto these days, but a few roms here and there dont hurt

its 10 gig so it will be a big download

but it might save time checking all ya roms and finding the upto date source, im gettin 100k plus, so it should only be a few days download on a fast connection (600k / 1mb / 2mb / sJANET)

also NTL BROAD BAND USERS

if you didnt already know, were all getting a free upgrade

if your 1mbit your gonna get 1.5 mbit
and if your trialing the 2mbit line you get something else (dunno what i couldnt find out

Is it just me or is NTL completely single fish, 50% of the time when I aproach my PC to do a quick search for something when in a rush, my connection gets dropped, and I have to wait till it's re-connected. Now this usually only takes a minute or two, but can happen several times in the space of, well not very long, and when you check the server status, everything is suposed to be running fine!

It's actually increasing to 750k for the existing 600k service, and the upgrade has already begun, mine was increased overnight, that's the South Manchester area, they have to do it in stages though because it entails rebooting modems/set top boxes, which they can't do en masse, so expect it any time in the next few days.

If your NTL connection that iffy I'd get NTL to check connections their end & modems etc etc. Also, ensure that any pop-up killers, or Firewalls, or anything else on ya PC isn't affecting ya connection. Also make sure you are virus free. :transfor:

I am on NTL and I get EXACTLY THAT suddenly it wont display websites all my IM things shut down , and hitting refresh about 1 million times kicks it back into gear. Its a nationwide fault. There upgrading a already well over stretched network so welcome to even more crap from those nice people at NTL Home.

Well bugger me. I said about two weeks ago that NTL will be upgrading everyone for Free and my god look whats happening..
