Hi, any ideas how i can play some of the downloads i have on my laptop. I have recently purchased one and see that a lot of the downloads are too big to play on the laptop. I have made the screen resolution as small as it can be but most emulations are still too big???

Maybe when enough people move over to Windows 7 they'll become familer with Virtual PC in XP MODE. Not sure if it works the same as VMWare but prehaps it supports higher screen resolutions like VMWare does ? I have Windows 7 installed in my VM it's pure trash so i'll stick with XP for another 5 years. Really VMWare is a usefull peice of software aswell as being able to AID craptops and small monoitors to support higher screen resoultions so you should check it out. Embrace it

VMWare player 3 is free but not as good as VMWare Workstation. Check out their forums, utube video's or what ever you'll pick it up quick

Edit: now that wizards source code is posted at the MAME website. Doe's that allow people to countiue on MFME to at least compile all versions into 1 with the re-sizeable layout function that 3.2 has ?

http://agemame.mamew...tatics/mfme.php

I guess but it's missing a bunch of stuff like the resize feature and MPU5. Since the source is now publicly posted is it free to adjust and change or is it just their for learning purposes ? I'd rather have 1 MFME with all features and techs rather then spread out accross 9

What is Caption under Game Details for ? Is it so you can use that for Title head name and then "Use Filenames in Game Manager" to keep things clean :)
