File Name: Club Costa Del Cash 1280DX
File Submitter: samson81
File Submitted: 21 Aug 2011
File Category: MPU 5

Here's my take on a clubber called Costa Del Cash

Firstly want to say thanx to FUAT for the beachball reels, Bugs & Trouty for the classic and thanx to the rom and flyer suppliers.

And a big thanx to Tommy C for the extra help i needed.

This is my second DX and i will have plenty more to come in the future so i hope you all enjoy this layout.

Shortcuts as normal,

Run this in MFME 10.1a

Enjoy

Thanks for this samson....good to see another DXer.

One bit of advice from me, it's very small for a 1280. There's a lot of wasted space, top and bottom. I actually thought it was a 1024 as you know originally.

Thanks for another quality release but I also have to mirrror what ady says with the size. That would be classed more as a 1024 as its too small for a 1280, but still great work on the dx.

Also on a side not its always best to make sure u remove any of the names and stuff from a classic before you release it. I see it has the reels and the bugs and trouty when u drag the right hand side over lool.

I think you'll find we DID say that ourselves....

Should 'new' creators not be given positive pointers then how do you expect them to know any minor mistakes?

I think the comments made where perfect im new at this and whilst i may be good at some bits i may still need advise and pointers on other bits which will in time help me to be able to understand and make better layouts.

Also on a side not its always best to make sure u remove any of the names and stuff from a classic before you release it. I see it has the reels and the bugs and trouty when u drag the right hand side over lool.

Tbh i left the reels there on purpose so people can see the reels if they want, and i left the bugs and trouty there for the fact i used their classic and wanted it there as a thank you kinda.

But i do understand your point and all advice and info given i take greatly as it helps me with future releases i may do :)

Always here to help Sam.

My first was about 7 years ago, I honestly still ask advice and advice even now when I get stuck....I (and we) do believe me buddy.

I will gladly playtest, ot even look at any layout background for you before you start DXing.

I put emphasis on....well done mate :)

thanx ady

as they say you wont learn nothing without getting the help and advice from others, Tommy C has been a massive help with bits and pieces and he does have a lot of time to help people i give him great credit for that.

not saying no one else helps out because they do many others on here have helped me out with allsorts yourself has given advice so has dougsta, hitthesix, brucegeorge, robinhood and so on the list is big.

everyone is here to share to relive the classics and the new but without the help and advice from others most of this would not be here, by that i also mean MAME and Wizard without them FME would not be here.

anyways enough ranting from me i think most understand what i mean... if you need help with anything there is always someone here that is willing to help in one way or another :)

im glad i found this wonderful place when i did and im glad i can contribute back by way of donating to help with costs and by producing layouts for others here too.

Sam

looks good it,s defititly a 1280dx as still can only see half the reels on lappy which is a shame but its your choice what size to make it still sort of playable though cheers
