Im looking for some help with my touch screen. Basically the touch sensor is inactive acording to the barcrest config window.

When i click on ELO it say cannot find file in the destination path, and when i click the micro touch it does nothing.

This is what happens when i click the Barcrest tab which i assume is the setup file.

Looking though the various boot logs it would apear mine is a 3m microtouch so might be why the elo stuff doesn't have any files as the config is most likely universal depending on machine.

What i need to know is can anyone tell me where there touch screen programme is installed so i can atleast check i have the correct files.
This is my Root structure:

The folder MT7_XPe is what i installed to try to kick start the touch screen drivers they are the XPe 3m Touch Drivers, But im sure Barcrests own ones on the Drive are the correct ones just dont know how to reinstall them.

In my Tools folder i have the following:

Now i know what your thinking run the touch screen usb driver but as anyone who has uses embedded will tell you its not that easy as you cant physicaly browse to the file and run it, i am only able to see all this from my own machine using a IDE Docking station as hot swapping is a must for diagnosing.

I have installed the XPe 3m microtouch drivers on the drive also last night in the hope it would triggure it to come back to life but nothing.
I know the touch screen is on as the tiny green LED on the PCB is lit on the back of my screen so i know there is power and its on.

if memory serves correctly, the program was in the c: directory. if you goto the windowes startup you should be able to see it listed

hope that helps

well i have manually installed the .inf .cat and .sys files for the ELO touch screen, now in windows i can move the cursor around but the cursor is nowhere near my fingure.
Problem i have now is the Barcrest config still says touch screen inactive even though i can now use it. This it self wouldnt be so much of a problem if i could use a diferent programme to calibrate the screen.

Any Barcrest engineers on here who would like to help as im not to sure where to go from here.

I can play the games but have to navigate to the game with the mouse at the moment. Ive test the payouts and all is good so just this last problem to fix.

Turns out it a 2m micro touch screen not an ELO however problem remains the same. I have found out about this programme called Mtstsmon.exe you should run before calibrating as it can effect the setup. If that doesnt work I suspect either the touch screen controller is faulty or there is a bad wire.

Will keep informed.

Well after speaking to a nice chap at 3m turns out the touch panel is dead in 1 corner hence why i cannot calibrate the mouse to go past half of the screen. so anyone with a spare 17" touch display they wanna shift let me know else i will have to wait for one on ebay to pop up.
There is an astra party games screen on Ebay at the moment but looks a liitle different to my Kortek display.
