the rio cabinet pc and architecture are different for the elvis range. you could order the pic chips but its my best guess that now the rio cabinet range have been dropped you wont be able to buy the upgrades anymore.

With the 777 cab coming in and rio vanishing I'd have thought there would be more people breaking the old ones for parts..... could I have BEEN any more WRONG, they seem to be as rare as rocking horse shit!

Right I got another question can someone please tell me what this error means
ERROR CODE 15 CHECKING GAME ID - 7BGR : FAILED
This happens when I try and put a new came card (Grand Casino) into Cashino, I can play in demo but when I close door I get the above error.
Could it be because the installed game on PC is B3 Grand Casino7 3.3(Build 61) and the programme module says on the orange sticker says ERIO 0.4L?
If so does that mean I need to get the bpak for version 4 for it to work?
The installed version of Cashino that works fine is CSB30_4 and the module says ERIO 0.4L.
Any help and advice appreciated
Cheers

Been having a go at getting one of these running on a old pc,and spotted files with similar names to yours in the mpu5 folder, I don't think that they are pic chip files because they start up but error on the emulator, It does makes me wonder why the files are on the pc and the program card.

OMG that's far too technical for me m8
The good news is that I know what my problem is, I got Grand Casino7 installed and it needs to be just Grand Casino, which I've downloaded from the repro.
The next BAD news is that I can't get PC in machine to recognise there's a USB stick being inserted when it asks for it.
What's the chances that BOTH USB ports are knackered?
My USB stick works on my PC so not got a clue what to do now

Totally lost me there m8
I just tried a USB keyboard in both USB ports and it doesn't recognise that either

sorry m8 was typed from phone so not very clear... mine has 2 usb's near the graphics card that is mounted to the board by 2 cables, (they usb 2.0 i believe) unlike the 4 standard usb that are fixed to the main board and situated near the keyboard and mouse ps2 ports.

No worries m8, mine has 4 near where all other cables attached and 2 at opposite end of casing.
If you hadn't mentioned what you did I prob wouldn't have seen there were in fact 4 together, 2 with monitors attached and 2 spare, who the hell decided to make things so awkward by having all connectors underneath where they're so hard to see lol.
Anyway I got there in the end thank fook, just gotta sourse PIKs for Elvis Top 20 and rainbow riches now
Thanks again for the help m8

Seriously best bet is to get to know a friendly arcade operator or try the number on a fruity in your local pub and ask them nicely to buy 1 for you and give them a little bit for there trouble, you may have to pay in advance but i cant see any other way of buying them unless you get yourself a gaming licence and buy direct. Most will do it if you agree to sign something to say its for home use only.
Chips ive been told are not cheap and would be around £80 +VAT.

I had 2 in the pipeline but unfortunately it looks like it's gonna go tits up as the bloke they were coming from seems to have vanished, but I'll keep looking and hopeing. No such thing as friendly arcade owner round here mores the pity
