About the internet forums. You can ask a very very simple question and get a very very stupid answer it is butifull. I asked a simple question about a new monoploly machine and all i get in return is a sarcastic answer and no doubt i will get one to this thread as well. I take it no one can help me then.

why did you start a new thread about the same subject? why not just use the old thread?
anyway read this, and try reading the older topics next time please. http://www.fruit-emu...viewtopic&t=717

To be fair, I think that he may be talking about the new (newer) Monopoly machine. Something like Monopoly around the world. Played it in my local in Reading the other day. Streaked for about £50 but only after putting in about £60... I also agree with his sentiment that the previous reply was a little unkind, especially as the original request was so politely worded...

try not to take sarcastic comments so hard, thats just the way some people are around here.
the thing you need to understand is that this site is primarily an emulation site and not a place where people are going to give out their playing tips, too many people are asking for tips recently and it is getting very annoying so maybe thats why you got the sarcastic reply.

Cheers for that i must lighten up i guess. I fully understand the fact about people asking for tips and it would annoy me if i was getting asked all the time but i was genuinely stuck on this one. Anyway i looked at the other threads and decided i may leave that one for others to lose on.
Cheers anyway

Colour me suprised....
After seeing comments from other people over the last few weeks about people wanting "ways to win" etc from machines, i'm suprised.
We've all lost shitloads in machines. Want me to recount stories of
hundreds of quid i've lost in hours or entire paycheck in weeks, and
then gone overdrawn to the tune of a few hundred on top, for several months? Yeah sure i felt 'annoyed'/pissed or downright wanted to kick seven colours of crap out of it but jesus. If you play these things you should damn well expect to walk away with, at least, less than you started, and often out of pocket for quite a few quid. Others, well we are - or were - addicted to the damn things.
It's not like some of you guys haven't made "This is a friggin' emu site!" response to posting comments/questions like that.
If the guy can't handle comments about getting a more from a bottle of alcohol than a fruitie what's he doing on the net?
And in closing, if either he - or the mods/admins - really can't handle such comments, delete my id and i'll happily f--k off.
