I am replying to you to say the reason why you can't download a file is because you don't have an Emulater thats why its called Fruit-emu!

Hi Iguana1 welcome to fruit Emu.

A/D is incorrect in his answer, as not having installed the FMEmuator installed will not affect downloads--it'll just stop you running them.

There was a post on the same subject last week (link below), as a new member it's always best to look through the past forums and to read the new user guides at the top of the home page.

Thanks for your message - still no luck.

Date and time are ok, IE is set to accept cookies.

Wouldn't be a firewall problem from having Norton would it?

Yes I can get that far.

When I click on the button that says "download", nothing happens then.

It either just refreshes or sometimes takes me to the file not found page.

Really annoying!

Might be a Pop-Up stopper problem.

Try and press CTRL or SHIFT when you click on the Download link and see if it works.

Or disable the Pop-Up stopper completely if you've got one installed.

That was one of my thoughts too ploggy, but he got into chat ok, which as you know can't run if pop-ups arn't allowed......Still worth exploring that option though.

Anymore ideas guys?

You may have problems if you are using any Download helpers like DAP, if you have any, try stopping them and see if the problem still occurs.

Have you tried an alternate browser like firefox, to see if you have the same problems?
