i have a 15 in screen so what machines fit on my screen
Probably 1024, But you could probably force it to veiw 1280

I have the same moniter problem.... mines like 12" or sumink.... actually it looks old enough to be run by a crank or something on the side! LOL
I have to stick to 1024 emmulator which is a bit gay...
