These guidelines. Plenty have been 'spoken to' so don't think you're untouchable...

NTL Rock

1.5Meg does anyway.

Never ever had a problem in 1.5 years of being a customer.

Highly recommend them :)

(As for 1Gig Cap, ignore it...virtually NO ONE!! has recieved a letter or warning and thats a fact :))

NTL TOTAL WASTE OF TIME.

Connection drops out for no apparent reason have to refresh browser 3 millon times for signs of life. I get 200 Mails a day seling me drugs , money , sex , or the like.

when I complained about high levels of junk mail i was told not our problem go and buy this software or that software where as hotmail i get no junk and its cost me nowt , sod all , a free lunch.

I am now on my 3rd modem
had 4 visits from engineers who scratch there heads go outside for a fag then bugger off and say its fixed.

shall i continue pmsl

While were on the subject of NTL i was recently talking to a mate who works for them and they are going to upgrade all 128k-600k users to 1mb for free in a bid to promote their new 3-5mb links that are coming out very soon.

If you are already an NTL customer and you have 500-600k then stick with it as a free upgrade will be coming your way in the near future....

8)

mmmm are you sure your m8 said this as the upgrades are

150 to 300k
600k to 750k
1mMb to 1.Mb

these upgrades have only just happend imo i cant see them doing any more for a while yet but i could be wrong......

I have found NTL to be a good company overall.

A few disconnection here and there, but nothing major.

But I am having trouble accessing my 55 Meg of Webspace.

I know I have to put "homepage.ntlworld.com/user.name" (without the quotes) but when I put that in it says the page can't be displayed?

I haven't been able to use my Webspace since I had NTL. :(

I have been able to get my NTL E-Mails sorted but I can't access my Webspace.

How do you start to use your Webspace with NTL?

Maybe I'm the only one who has the problem? If I send an email to a person on eBay, who has an AOL mail account, they never receive my messages. Apparently [from people I've talked to on eBay], it is something to do with AOL 'protecting users from unsolicited email' - that is, email which they haven't requested.

Perhaps its all sorted now?
