Hi all or anyone

Im really new here and am just learning around the basics of fruit emulators and how they work etc. and btw thanks to whom wrote the tutorials they were a help to a newb.

But my problem at the moment is that I downloaded 777 Heaven game WDX version and all i get is a 2P error and a continous alarm sound, I have now spent over an hour looking at settings and trawling through the forums for an answer, something that hasnt been forthcomming, any suggestions would be welcome or if Im looking in the wrong place please someone direct me to the right place and any help appreciated.

Also this is a wicked (great) site, where I have downloaded some of my old favourites that I used to plough 40 - 50 quid into back in my teenage years =-), so love the work undertaken here.

Hi Rally and welcome.

very quick reply as i'm off to work :(

Could simply be that you have either opened it in the wrong Emulator (different versions need speeds amended).

I can only think of that as

A) it's a common reason !! lol that was easy ;)

B) I haven't heard of anyone else having that problem,

Hi and welcome, like ady said it may be the emu that you are trying to play it on. what emu did you use to try and play it?

oh ok thanks for support, I seemed to have loaded this again and it didnt work then I checked the preferences and clicked a box called auto throttle and hey presto, so what is auto throttle?, but neways thanks for the advice, and I think I was using MFME 2 or 3 yesterday, Although when I first loaded today it said a P230 code or something. Anyways back to happy times and happy playing.

Just an update: works fine put in £20 and got £16 back, not bad not bad and at leat I lost nothing, keep up the really good work.. now back to playing.

Auto-throttle simply means the emulator will automatically adjust itself to the correct speed depending on the speed of your CPU and memory installed on your PC.

I 'think' lol.
Mmmmmm...Sandy ive 'ad her ye know. :)

so would that bring up a P230 message or was I just playing the game in the wrong mfme, probably the latter knowing me, also remember this machine to be more corrupt when I used to work in a small arcade. Like people would get jackpot and the hold the reels again for another jp, or would hold cancel 3 times to get a better nudge win etc something like tht anyways. Although I aint complaining as just being able to play at home in great...

P230 is the rom number what the machine is running,if your running project games just use mfme 3.2 as this is the one that runs em best.I think some can be played in mfme 10.1a but not all, most of the roms we have available for emulation are very late revisions so the game play you remember has been chipped out,so this explains why the game play is a little tight. Also some machines are released with very little games played so the roms are in a factory reset state.

hello rally i was new myself on here only a few weeks ago and immediatly took an interest in how things work. once youve learned the basics its as easy as ABC and if you would like to make a personal classic version of your favourate machine from your teenage years then i would be glad to offer you any assistance. good luck! :cute:
