Hi, just got back from arcade (don't go in many now!!) and it was completely full of Partytime (and clones) machines, with the exception of Monopoly and Trick Shot. Is that a pile of pants or what? :-(

Anyway that's the rant over! However was quite impressed with Trick Shot as it was actually kinda fun to play, with cool video screen to play on as well! And it payed out ok which most of the Partytime's didn't seem too :D

It just looked to be an easy way to throw loads of £££s into a game without getting getting a win, i guess they must pay well, eventually or else no one would play them but.....
I must be getting old cos 15 years ago i probably would have been enthralled by it all!!!

IMHO most lo-techs [Bar X, Party Time, e.t.c] will pay out well below percentage, i.e stuff like £100 in £10 out is reasonable......UNTIL they throw the rest at you. I once went on a lotech [Casino Crazy Fruits], and was amazed when a Melon win [something like £10?] held about 8 times, but then you realise that it has ripped people off to be able to afford it. I gave up machines altogether recently [except 2p / £3/£5 Buckaroo which is a great way of wasting time and not spending too much!], but I gave u the Lotechs after about 2 hours of playing time. They do NOTHING worthwhile, and due to the lack of a feature board cost a great deal more per minute than a normal board based game.

I'd stay the hell away unless you are one of these people that know every 'trick' for Electrocoin machines.....and I bet that most of those are down by loads but can't admit it :)
