After this came up I fired up the emulator and had a play of CU and, true to form, it sucked away and finally gave me a bonus prize of 5 super series. It then proceeded to pay out £1.60 from the 5 super series, which back in the day would have been just over the token limit - absolutely typical behaviour on a shockingly bad machine.

Yeah right. Who would want to pay that much for a machine that sucked. If you did get that then drinks are on you. How much did you buy it for just out of curiosity?

"used to hate " suggests you have changed you mind on the subject. As to the matrix being split into individual lines, perhaps it was asthetics, but it didn't improve game play any, nor the payouts which, in spite of percentages, all seemed so much worse than other MPU3 machines.

maybe the person who won the auction has a lisence and intends putting it in his bar/arcade/cafe for the public to use, in which case its best to get one that doesnt like to pay out and he'l soon get his £940 back
Maybe when he plugs the machine in it will die in a bizarre electrical malfunction causing it to spontaneously combust and good f*****g riddance

I actually liked this machine loads in the day - not sure I'd have gone that high though. Might have considered £500 if fully working with old coins included. Good on you for the sale though :-)
