Yup, I know there are links to the tutorials! Problem is, it took me a while to see them, as I sorta skimmed over and missed them!

To my mind, the most valuable area is the bar on the top. Fair enough, you've run out of room on lower res. Still, you have an FAQ section there... why not simply put another link to the tutorials in the FAQ section?

I would guess that "how do I get this emulator to work?" and "what do I do with these layout thingies?" would be frequently asked questions ;)

Makes sense to me... put links to the tutorials in several places, then even the most retarded surfers, such as myself, can find them!!!

By the way, is this a PhpNuke site? To my mind, phpnuke is the spawn of Satan, and all sites look the same using it (e.g. cheesy CounterStrike clan sites). If it is.... hats off to you! Top notch job! :D

i must say it is not very difficult to find the tutorials, there is more than one link already.

and in answer to your question "is this site php nuke", the answer is yes, i found that out by looking right at the bottom of the page around about where it says powered by php nuke.

Sure, its not difficult to find the links. However, noobs looking for advice may not KNOW to look for tutorials... their first port of call would be the FAQ (as was mine). It was only further searching that found the tutorials section!

Oh yeah, so it does say :D And a marvellous implementation of it it is too :)

The site php-nuke code has been hacked to pieces over the past year so much so that even a minor nuke upgrade feels me with dread.

seeing as the tutorials are at the top af the page with a comment such as please read these before going any further in blue font is good enough

or is that just me :?

where the tutorial links are is the general page information which in your word "any nob" using the site could find cos im pretty confident that anyone who doesnt read that section of the page wont actually know what this site is all about

or am i just being pendantic :?

I'd have to agree with you. If a person doesn't have the patience to read the first few paragraphs on the front page of the site then they probably don't have the patience to get their first emulation running.
