i just want to reply as i started this thred i just wanted people to understand drug/alcohol addiction.
i know and understand its a difficult subject
i had steele ask me what my job is? (sorry steele i have been busy)
i am a rehab assistant and i work closely with people who suffer from addition,
i am not the sort of person who preaches to people,
i just try to help by being there and to listen.
thats sometimes all thats needed..

No time for drug users, remember what the Grange Hill kids said and Just say no.
Why is it that these idiots abuse their bodies with drugs and alcohol, then expect the state to fund their rehab. If they can afford drugs etc then they can affords to pay for rehab, not rely on the NHS.

im sorry but i have to side with CASS here, having been a healthcare professional myself,i have seen many forms of addiction, and in 90+% of cases,there is an underlying cause !! its not for us to play judge and jury and condemn people without knowing the cause - there but for the grace of God - it could be YOUR son,YOUR daughter etc..... lets not jump on bandwagons
