Hi all think this is my first post on here thanks to all the guys and galls who made all the downloads possible .
My question is this what are the fruit machines that are in the background on programmes such as coronation street , eastenders and the likes , and are they emulated on here somewhere ?
Any helpwith this would be very much appreciated .

no i dont think the £35 or £70 machines are emulatable just yet but if you were watching old uk gold episodes of corrie or eastenders you would most definatly find the background machines in the downloads such as physco cash beast from eastenders mid 90's :)

i think we`ve had a couple of £35 quidders done, but as regards the new ones, there used to be a 3 year rule before they could be emulated(this may have changed),and then there`s the limitations of the tech of the machines some can be done some not...pot luck at the moment i think

The only part of of the £70 machines you will find on this or any other emu site is the sound. Think eastenders has cloud 9 for there £70 ones, not sure what shamless and corrie are tho.

This question has been asked before, especially concerning sounds used.

Pretty certain, it's to do with licensing requirements, as to the reason why the sounds do not match the machine.

I thought it was because the show is recored in silence and other sound effects are added later.

In "The Bill" for example, if they filmed a police car racing down a street, lights flashing, there would be no siren, and the siren would be edited in at a later date.
Where you came from, is gone.
Where you thought you were going, was never there.
And where you're at right now, aint no good, unless you can get away from it.

i remember gail,s cafe in corrie used to have a hi-rise machine and even when the cafe didn,t have a machine it still played in the background effects there,s a dels millions in ian,s chippy in eastenders i laugh when the actors play the machines they press the buttons but the reels don,t spin but they still do the sound effects they even play them when they're in back door open mode and also when the woolpack in emmerdale got blown up the machine just fell to the ground like paper lol

I think the machine in the rovers is 'pound of the baskervilles' or 'sheerluck holmes' it's only a maygay 25 pounder. Before the fire the vic had a high flyer in one bar. Sounds are still golden dragon in vic
