Hi everyone, after steering clear of these after putting over £200 in one once i was in my local arcade in M'bro talking to an old dear playing on one. She said she had tried just about combination of them from £5 x-s to the £70jp and she reckoned the biggest payers are the 72% sit down machines. I've seen them from 72%-92% but she said the higher percentage machines can take a lot more before giving a decent pay. I just wondered if anybody has a similar or different view? She also said there is certain wins that you get that will keep paying for instance if you get the bars roll in twice then once it will roll them in 3 times before long.

Yeah crosses & bars can roll in 3 times, sevens not so often although I've had it a few times. Best to steer clear of these as they can suck you dry in seconds. I've heard of £500 plus going through without a decent win of sorts.
Fine if you catch them at the right time but every arcade I go in that has there seems to be the 'sharks' hovering around them - waiting to pounce!
Better still, get yourself over to Reels of Fun who do a cracking simulation of Magic 7 for just a few quid.

I so know all about Magic 7 and it's streaks or not etc after owning my own, I had mine on all percentages and the simple fact with them seems to be, they take 100's with the odd little bit of winnings here and there, then they totally go crazy and drop 100's to get percentage back.
As to the triple 7's roll in or 2 holds on JP, even set at 90% it's very rare, they seem to usually like to give loads of smaller wins in the streak, which is, in my opinion much better for the player as theres more going on.
Have a look at link if you think putting a couple of hundred quid in one, will get you the 3 times roll in on 7's

I was the best thing I ever did, buying it, it taught me that the best thing with these is stick a fiver in and if you lose..... walk away! Don't let a 'backing one fool you that's it means it's gonna pay out..... it DOESN'T
After having mine, I don't even put a fiver in them any more
