Sorry that I can't offer any examples, but this is an interesing post.

Does a PDA with Windows [I'm guessing Pocket or CE edition] support normal exe files? I'm guessing that it doesn't support Direct X for a start which would rule out current emulators :(

However, does it play Flash files? I'm sure that there will be Flash fruit machines available. Also, the screen size [They're normally about 320x256 resolution aren't they?] would prohibit from emulating a normal machine, but a lo-tech should be possible [3 reels and basic layout].

Not that the emulator would support Windows Pocket at the moment, but you shouldn't expect more than a basic layout.

One interesting alternative - there are several Console emulation projects which run on Pocket PC, which would mean stuff like the old Spectrum Fruit Simulators [I'll dig them out later, they were amazing!!] should be possible.

Even if you get no more posts on this topic, let us know how you get on! If you have no luck finding emulators e.t.c, just leave a message and I'll try to help!

AHH the old fruit machine simulators by codemasters on the speccy, these were my first encounter with fruit machines (i was only six at the time) and i used to spend hours playing them ( took half an hour to load). i've got a speccy emulator on my pc so i am gonna look for them and relive those good times!!!!

i'll have a look this weekend if any free little games are available.

im sure there are one or two that have been made specially but are prolly just simple OXO ones.

i can use terminal services on my pda tho lol :) i'll just run them via remote desktop on my pc rofl

Theres currently no emulator available for any touch-screen machines in pubs, but I'm sure that a search for trivia or quiz games on the net will give some possibilities.

I also played the Speccy Fruit Sims when I was about 5, maybe 6. Was writing crap invader clones and even 1 machine sim when I was 6, and the bloody thing died when I was 7 [Used to just get a corrupted set of coloured sqaures on the TV :(]

There was another fruit sim as well, not from Codemasters, I think it was from a company called Arno....used to love getting the JP on that, played a funny little tune.....and people wonder why I got addicted :)
