Not sure if I remember them in a red bag but also their was some in a bag with newspaper print black n white the snacks were shaped like little fishes n chips not sure about the chicken flavour shapes but yes they were lush a bit like the cheesy ones we get today all different shapes

They still make them, but a company by the name of Red Mill now makes them, and I believe they are mostly found in places like poundstrecher (Last time I saw em anyway)

Does anyone remember when you used to go to your shops and get 'a quarter of' ...Kop-kops..sweet peanuts..bon-bons etc...

There is a sweet shop in my town called 'American Candy' and i was in having a nosey..seen sweet peanuts..thought..i NEED to get them..they were summat like £1.60 ?? and you got about 10 sweets in them ??

Plus..they didnt taste the same..i was very dissapointed .. i need to build a time machine out of a Delorian and go back and get some.

Found this one place in Buxton, that was fantastic for this sort of thing, but the stuff was not cheap.

My favorite snacks as a boy was Thunder-cats.Crisps and snacks dont taste as good as they did 15-20 years ago because of the tighter restrictions on how much fat is used in them. Just wish they would bring them back was never a big fan of the fish & Chips snacks but i sure do remember them
