Do you save as an avi file or a camrec? Do you convert it? What do you do to record the sound? direct from the speakers? So many questions I know but have had shed loads of problems with the sound. Cheers

I save as a camrec file, as sometimes I'll edit then, then produce/share as a HD file (MP4) which I then upload to youtube.

I just did a test of a camrec file and chose produce/share to a CD file (AVI) and it turned out file complete with sound.

I use camtasia studio 7 under Win7 and in the record audio settings I use 'stereo mix'

Just checked under winXP and there I have to use the option Line Audio
