Has anyone heard of these RF devices that claim to disrupt the electronics of some fruities? If so do they work? Does anyone use one?

Hi!

If you do a forum search, using the word 'manipulator', there are already about 7 threads on which this topic has been discussed :)

To find forum search, it is in the left hand frame of the site, at the bottom of the 'Forums' menu.

Personally, I don't mind if people buy them or not. The people that buy them on eBay are only buying old remote central locking plips anyway.

There are ones around that are supposed to work, but if also wouldn't use one myself. If you did get caught using one, you will end up being done for fraud/theft or something along those lines - and it removes the actual challenge of trying to get cash out of a machine using tactics or skill [I know theres no skill these days, but still!'

Heres a story I know:

At the town of Poole in the coinsville arcade an arcade owner was watching 2 kids playing a machine on cctv. He noticed one had his hand up the coin slot all the time. Suddenly money started pooring out and they ran off, the arcade owner found the device and the police were called.

Thats why I would not use one, you can be arrested for it.

I am not gonna break the law in order to get money.

True story by the way

Yes they do work. Well, the one I have works anyway. If anyone wants to buy it (since I don't use it now I've sold my fruit machine), just email me on chris@sharpy2007.wanadoo.co.uk and you can have it for £45.

Cheers

Ssshh!! Don't advertise an RF FM Manipulator on here!

Anyway, lets say it did work, what kind of machine do you own? Did it work on that?

Just curious :)

Hiya,

I had an Andy Capp £8 jackpot 5p play, the first one by BWB.

It emptied the hopper within about 7 or 8 minutes, but because it was my own machine, no money to be made! Was simpler than opening up the back though!

I've lent it to my mate (yes, I have one!), and he says it *does* work on other machines. He doesn't own his own machine, and I have no idea where he went to try it, but I doubt he did it legally (I don't want to know!). Anyway...

I thought an RF Tester sounded like the biggest load of crap ever, until I bought one. Was prepared to lose the money, and the item be a load of sh1t, but to my surprise.... it worked. hehe

Lol, you could probably empty one of those with feather anyway :p

I'm beginning to think that they must work, there seem to have been several new cabinets released recently, unless Barcrest / Vivid / Red-Gaming, and JPM / Ace / Crystal just felt like they needed sprucing up.

Anyway, if anyone on here tries one, it is done at their own risk. If it doesn't work, good, as you can't break the law! I bet theres no comeback if it doesn't work.

If anyone wants one, please email me on chris@sharpy2007.wanadoo.co.uk

I have ONE to sell, not hundreds. I've had a few emails, but nothing definite. It works, and I want £45 for it.

Cheers.

P.S. If this post contravenes a rule here, please just remove it rather than banning my account, as it'll be a genuine mistake!
