Just wondered what the most ludicrous thing is that anyone has witnessed someone doing to a fruity to try and get it to streak or find hidden cheats?
Seen a few blokes quickly pressing cancel for whole duration of their play, like 20 mins even when puttin coins in. ???
Spinning the coins in with a wierd flick of the wrist ???
Shouting their mate over cos they got 2 nudges and they both spend 15 mins with their cheeks pressed on the glass before finally giving up and nudging in a pair of cherries :Llol:
A lad to his mate the other day 'right wot u do to win is pick 3 machines and put x amount into 1 then move on til the 3rd 1 u get jackpot' ????????????...... does he think they are networked?
Lets have your tales of 'clued up' players and their urban legends

The golden days of ripping off machines, cant beat em.
On 777 heaven get a win (make sure you have no credits in the bank). Put in half a credit (10p) and collect it. Keep following this process until the buttons flash put in a full credit (20p) and the win will hold. This will work until you have cleaned the machines out of cash completely. I got banned from about 5 arcades in Yarmouth during my youth for doing this.
Another great one was on "Barcrests All Cash Advance". Get All cash advance (£2 repeater). Have your mate go round the back and turn the power off. When power comes back on you will have £4 in the bank, do the same again you will have £6 in the bank and so on.
Both of these machines are emulated give it a try, or if you find an arcade old enough to have these machines give it a go.
Are those were the days....

I'm not sure what happened but I stuck 20p in a Big Bucks a few months back and it gave me a pound worth of credit. Only done it once - not sure if the machine screwed up or the way I put it in??!!

we used to cover half an old 10p in silver insulation tape and it used to knock up 50p in our college cafeteria vending machines!! very profitable until they caught on and swapped the machines, then the new 10ps came out soon after! i wish id have known about that years earlier!! i do believe that the particular type of coin mech relied on the actual weight of the coin (a sort of tipper balance thingy)

Do you know the main reason, why they changed the size of the
english 5 pence coins ?
Because they fit precisely in nearly all our german machiens
(gambling,vending,anything really)
and the exchangerate was 1 to 7.
Coming back home from the Uk with 100 pounds worth of
5 p coins mademe a great 700 pounds worth german marks here.
Just putting 1.50 pounds in 30 5 p coins in a fruity here (creditlimit)
counted up 30 deutschmarks.
Made one game, collected 29,70 marks (10 pounds at the time)
Heavy suitcase so...

Talking about vending machines, there used to be snacks one in our college and when u choose ya snack e.g F2, keep the "2" pressed and the thing just keeps spinning until u let go of the number, this ofcourse drops all the food on that rack, but for some reason it only worked on one of the "rack"..but woohoo...20 chocolate bars for 35p.
On a diferent note, anyone used to use that 1 pound trick in phone booths?...put one pound in...make ya call, then just as the time runs out, press (can't remember too much this was like 10 yrs ago) #01# or something along them lines and it ejects your pound back out. You have to remember mobile phones wasn't accessible to everyone as yet (first Nokias only just came out (but was like kettle size!!), and this saved alot of cash.

I don't know if someone has used some kind of 'manipulator', but in one of the cafe areas at my college [Peterborough], there were 2 indentical Coke machines. One said £1.00 on the display per bottle, and one said £99.99..... as to whether or not that was I accurate I never found out. I may be mad but I won't pay £99.99 for a bottle of cherry coke. I use the newsagents out the back and get out of date fanta, 2 bottles for 80p
Weirdest thing I had seen apart from that? Well, not sure of what to make of it really. One of my local pubs has 2 seperate bars, manned by the same OAPs. They were in the garden one day, so I go in, get a pint for me and a mate, and they go back into the garden. A bloke leaves the machine. He has taken a good £100 out of the Viva Rock Vegas £25 AWP [this was 2 years ago], and I thought it was worth risking £25 - I've done this loads and quite often people leave before the end of streaks. Anyway, I put £1 in, and it went through the coin gate thing, and didn't register on the display. My friend tried his, and the same. I looked into the coin mech, and there was the bulb hanging in the space the coins fall into, and the mech looked like quite a mess.
At first you think - it must have just died. But then you realise that the bloke before must have been getting credits some how, and how come it was taking his coins?
Seems really weird, it was a modern Cashflow 126 type mech from what I can tell, so he couldn't have been adding credits with a screwdriver or anything else mad?
Has this happened to anyone else??? Was there a vulnerability with Cashflow mechs on 2000ish JPMs? I fail to see how someone can be getting free credits on a modern mech, its hard enough making them accept REAL coins!

At school Me and 2 mates stuffed cut up asda orange juice cartons in some vending machines. Hopeing we would block the tubes, and then be able to reach in and get the money.
All that happend was after 2 or so days, and around £70 (no joke) lost in em the people where called to fix em, only to find the cartons, the school knew it was sabotage, but they never found out.....
Felt sorta guilty, but it was funny.

Many hundreds of years ago at college we had a couple of coffee/tea vending machines. Someone, somehow, found out that holding the black coffee button down it would keep vending & vending.
All was great until the next year when the 'newbies' started and were twats.... "hey, if you hold black coffee it keeps vending". (in loud voices - 1 week after the start of the new college year it was fixed)
