Right firstly hello guys seems like a great community here glad to be part of it :) .And as a complete noob to the world of fruit machines please forgive me if these questions seem simple or have indeed been explained before, right lets get on with it.

The machine: (Barcrest) Star Wars - A New Hope MPU5 board, £70jp currently at 72% payout, with stake of 30p 50p £1 oh and it is in a Horizon cabinet(hope thats everything).

Problem No1: I want to change the payout % from 72% to a more modest 80% but without following a manual I haven't a clue as to how I go about doing this.

Problem No2: I also want to change the minimum play to 25p instead of 30p simply because its 5p cheaper but more importantly its more equal (25p 50p £1) if you get what I am saying.

Not so much as a problem this but more of a identity parade if you like, I have recently found a chip/eprom in the bottom of my fruity cabinet and haven't a scooby do what it is, or what its for I am guessing it could contain the actual game program on it but I could be way out, I have included a picture of the chip hopefully one of you guys could help ID the thing.
Many thanks in advance for help in these questions.

Martin

That eprom is a boot / security chip - Guessing its been left in the machine after a £35 to £70 upgrade.

Your program is loaded up via a flash card - i very much doubt it will drop down to 25p tbh.
