By 'Casino', do you mean the

a) Lotech by Mazooma, Sit Down bingo type Monopoly,

B) Monopoly by BFM, 2 boards, collecting on ? marks, lighting coloured sets to get features, supermeter [shows wins collected on a big 7 segment display], in a pretty Red cabinet. Oh, and that gives the Hotel when you are on the bottom board which is worth bugger all,

Or c) Mazooma - Monopoly 'Wonders of the World' edition. I've seen this once in a tiny little pub about 16 miles away. I assume its on test at the moment, it came out of the factory 16th August, and the Mazooma website doesn't mention it. Mind you, that appears to be months out of date. Comes in a Blue cabinet, feature is gained by a 1>8 trail + Extra Life, e.t.c. Instead of being a wraparound trail, it is end > end, therefore Mayfair is a Jackpot if you land on it.

Well, either way, NONE of them can be emulated. They should all be Scorpion 5 technology, and currently only Scorpions 1 + 2 can be emulated. Maybe in 3 years time it'll be possible, but then, who knows?

I'll agree, I thought it was nice to find a BFM where if you play about £30 through, on most occasions you will get £25>£40 out. Not bad, far better than the tripe Bell Fruit were making before.

yeah that is a good machine, normally the minimum I have had out of that machine is £3 off a the normal board !!!

I am always "up" on that one :)

in tha arcade near me they have a cops and robbers one next to it, which is similar and plays roughly the same, I always go into there and win about £20-£30 off both machines :p

the fact that you can collect on question marks is pretty sweet, at least your guranteed something off every feature...

it is one of my favorite games around at the mo... better than this shit one we have down the pub called 'vamp it up' which is similar!

anyone know what some of the sets are off the superboard feature wise?

i know the first one is super hold i think but thats it.

lucky buggers! just had this removed from my local and it was by far the worst bandit i've ever played! never been "up" from it, but it's one of those that kept drawing me back. me and my mate ran 50 odd quid through it, and it never offered more than 6 quid (red bars i think). it streaks like a bitch though when it's in the mood apparantly!

I always thought that Vamp it Up was a good[ish] machine, although the one I used to play was in a bowling alley and was played by drunk 15 year olds.

The direct clone of Monopoly, by Mazooma, was called Return of the Count, I don't suppose you might be getting the two confused?

On Vamp it Up, the board goes from Blue to Red for the Superboard, on Return of the Count it has 2 seperate boards, just the same as Monopoly.

Anyway, with Monopoly, the features I know are :

Brown Set [first two places on the board] - quite hard to get, and even though it should be crap, I had £12 off it. Not sure what it did though.

Blue Set - Super Hold

Pink Set - Symbol Steppa - reels step down, for every symbol that lands on the winline, the cash ladder goes up by 1....normally goes for £2.40 > £6.00

To be honest, the sets aren't even worth bothering with. When it gives the JP, it's never going to be from a feature, with the exception of Super Hold, and thats never going to happen :)

I've taken £12.00 from it - average £6.00, never £2.40, lowest £3.00...

I've had that - twice 8)

Oranges/Yellows are either board shots - it decides how many you get, and goes for about £6.00-£8.00, or cash trail eliminates values until one remains, not sure which is which...

Reds - haven't got a clue...

Greens are 'Tutti Frutti' and yes, I had all 3 cherries on line when I collected it, and laughed in a very bitter, cynical way - don't know if it's trueskill or not...

Purples are win streak - can go for £25.00, though I only got £18 from the only one I've had (on invincible board!)...

Haven't seen the sit-down version at all...

might be return of the count... with you needing to get 4 blood bags off the top for invinvable and get the half moon or something for double values like the hotel???

I was playing monopoly a few months ago now, got the pink set and collected. the machine steps down the symbols and adds one per symbol on winline..... got to £8...... kept stepping got to £25 and kept stepping !!!! only gave £25 but it set off the streak 4 boards in a row went IM and then I took £12 off the accumalator thing in the middle and that repeated!! so for £5 in took £120...... so it does pay jackpot off features (but probably only once in a blue moon)....

Yup, my dad found out about the Green set as well, although he got a lemon for £1.60!

You have to accept that the figures I give are based on always collecting boards on ?marks, in a local village pub with I'd guess no more than £100 a week throughput, most of that being dads probably :)

I know that on my Spiker [as an example], I've never had less than £8 from upgrade Pound Run, but no doubt people on here have had £4 sometimes? Might have something to do with 80% payout and me losing the majority of my wages in it :)

Yeh, but at least you've got the key to open the bugger up, and not some greasy arcade owner... :D
