I have made another thread about this very subject a while ago about the favouritism that goes on between certain players and staff..it appears it is not just limited to 'SlowSilvers'** (** the names have been changed to protect the innocent).

Since 'SlowSilvers' closed down i have been limited to 'Knobles'** in my town..it is a place i very very rarely go to mainly because its shit..and its full of B3/S16 machines and lo-techers..the odd hi-tech one thrown in.

So im walking past with some change in my pocket..about £7-10 and thought..och...why not ill go in and see whats what..so im playing a PTA and holding my own..couple of top boards...got up to around £20-30 odd.

Meanwhile there is a woman playing 'Bullion Bars' 3 player and i keep hearing...'Player 1...lets play Bullion Bars'..thinking shes doing no bad out of that..so i dunno how much she gets out of it..but it spits out a fair few quid.

So..i move on to another machine..and she moves on to player 3 bullion bars..didnt hear anything coming out of it..not that im 'sharking' but i happens to glance round occasionally..10-15 mins later she calls one of the staff over..and walks out.

Im down to about £10 or so by this time..and im thinkin..wait..she must have put a shit-load of cash into player 3..maybe its due a turn..so i walks up to it..and over the coin mech..'Sorry..this machine is out of order'..bit of card stuck on with blu-tack.

Hmmm...better leave that one then..so i goes back on to PTA different unit..im doing well out of it..building my cash back up slowly..30-45 mins later im still on it..with £36 odd in the bank..next thing a woman comes in...a different one..and goes over to player 3 bullion bars..and starts playing it.

Out of order is it ??...hmmm dosent look very 'out of order' to me..she sticks about a fiver in it and walks out...im like..ye know what...fk it..im going up to play that..so i just takes the 'out of order' sign right off it..and start playing it.

About a fiver later..i get a nudges for the JP...then about £3 or 4 later nudges for bullion bars top board...3 times in a row..ok it only went for £15 each time...but still..that was £70 all in i took out of it.

So..do you think its fair that certain players can 'hold' machines untill the next day or whatever..just untill they get a bit of cash together..so that they can go down and play it again..and recoup some of thier loses.

How many times have YOU been in an arcade..spunked £30-40-50 or more into a machine and had to walk out skint...knowing the next person to play that machine is on to a winner.

Isnt that what gambling on the machines is all about though ?

Just to 'bump' and old thread and to show that it still goes on..was walking past my Nobles yesterday or Cashino Games as its called now..only had about £7 on me so i wasnt out for a session by any means.

I thought..ill try my luck in the 10p/£5 Party Time machine that they have in there..walked in..theres a wummin thats NEVER out of the place playing all 3 at once..mutters to myself 'f***in great innit' and went to play a Bar X machine.

Playing this machine caught it on a small run for £15 odd..thinking to myself is she ever gonna get off them machines..probably not...so took my winnings to a 30p/£25 PTA..its keeping me playing for ages..getting up £14..getting up again £20..etc..but no significant wins.

So there is a 3 player bullions bars right behind the PTA and i hear coins going into it..look round and its the woman that was playing Party Time....good i thought...shes finally off it i can go get a shot of it..meanwhile she decides shes playing all 3 Bullion Bars at once.

Walks over to the Party Time and on all 3 units there is a 'Sorry im being played' card on them..with no credit in any of them...WTF !!!

I mean make up your f***in mind what machine(s) your gonna play..you cant just take your pick surely and when your bored with a machine hold it..cos your bored with it..and 'I may come back to that later' or i may not.

Its not giving other players a fair chance at playing any of the machines because some people in there get preferential treatment and can pick and choose when they play the machines and no-one else gets a look in.

Maybe im being melodramatic...but does this seem fair to anyone else ? .. Im hardly ever in the Arcade but im seriously considering sending an e-mail to their head office about what goes on in their arcades.

My views on the situation from a thread i done a while back.
Mmmmmm...Sandy ive 'ad her ye know. :)

I hate it when you walk into an arcade and see a 3 player PT with 2 stickers on it saying reserved for 30 minutes so I look at my phone and note the time then after 40 minutes I say can you take them down and you get no sorry they have just left to go to the bank. I say sorry I walked in at 2pm and its not 2.40pm and they have not come back. Remove them now please or I will report you to your head office and the council's licencing too. They soon take them off and then 30 minutes later some old bird comes in after running home to sell her car or TV to cash skankverter to get money to play her PT and starts screaming at you and demands that you get off "HER" machine. Nothing they can do, the option to save a machine is not law but a courtesy that the arcade offer to its clients. They don't have to do it so if you are well over your 30 minutes then there is nothing to stop a player asking for the ticket to be removed.

Now then if your playing 2 machines in two parts of the arcade and they have a sticker to stop you playing it then thats wrong! They can play two machines as long as they are side by side. At the endof the day the more money in a machine is better off for the arcade than having it sit there all day to not get played as the old cow has spunked her wages into the PT I play two machines side by side but I never play all over the arcade as you can get stung like I did when the Chinese woman played my credits off on a reelking and dropped in a full screen and started to collect the money. I got the staff to lock the door and they checked the cctv and she didn't even put any money in so I called the police and they said its a civil matter and they would not deal with it. I said it was theft. Good job I managed to grab over £200 out the tray with a few cuts and bruises. i then went to her shop got the phone number and over the next 10 weeks I ordered orders of about £35 to bogus addresses from pay phones. Will teach her to rob my £500

Yet another reason not to go to arcades - I'm surprised there are any left open...

"player 1,3, 4,5 oh sorry its not you!!! they,ve all got a credit in them since the old granny left 30p in each" lol now that really pisses me off you just raided player 2 say and there,s nowt else to decent to play in there i.e gala! and the rest of em have 1 credit in them for the last 2 hrs there only supposed to be save whilst bingo is playin in my eyes if you,ve ran out of money at bingo then you should leave machine creditless not in the hope you may win a fiver on the bingo
