OK, I have confirmed that there is a problem with the report center in the forum software. Basically if a member reports a private message then their report is mistakingly e-mailed to every single member rather than just the moderating team. For the time being I'm going to switch off the ability to report private messages until there is a fix available. Apologies to everyone who received another e-mail when I was re-testing.

Wierd though innit reading back to pauldot's original post "you have been sent this communication from 4mixedsevens via the "Report this to a moderator" link.

Surely that option wouldnt appear when said spammer went to report , it would just goto Duplu , Wozza , Ady , Todd , Rob , DAD , CB and Zoltar.

Something strange is afoot.
