I have just started playing these emulator fruit machines and they are excellent. I was just wondering if you can get layouts and roms for some of the newer £25 Jackpot machines anywhere on the net (this site or otherwise).
I am particularly looking for The Big Cheese, I believe this site has a layout but not a rom. Anyone know where you can get this stuff?
Thanks for your help,
Grant.

I think the version of the Big Cheese on here isn't the one you are looking for :
You want the £25 JP Barcrest, with the super trail, mice everywhere, red boxes for on reels for features, 3 bits of cheese in view, 16 nudges for £1.60
??
The one on here is an Empire machine, which is a £15 JP and nothing at all like The Big Cheese by Barcrest.
Also, there is no way for any Barcrest machine made since 1997 to be emulated, so you may as well give up trying to find machines such as Big Cheese, and its clones [Top Dog, High Flyer, Super Star]
Oh, and just to quote the top of the homepage :
I'm glad to here that you like the emulations that are available, but there is no emulator for Barcrest MPU5s [those after '97] in development at all, anywhere

Fruit-Emu contains all the files and resources necessary to run emulations for over 600 Fruit Machines. The aim of the site is to keep alive the memory of older Fruit Machines which are no longer available for play in arcades. We do not emulate any current machines such as Crazy Fruits, Party Time or Pie Factory. All newer machines cannot be emulated and you will therefore not find them on this site (in fact you will not find them on any site, so save yourself some time and stop trawling the internet for them!).
I'm glad to here that you like the emulations that are available, but there is no emulator for Barcrest MPU5s [those after '97] in development at all, anywhere

BB is right, the big cheese that is for download on here is an empire machine... hence the reason for no roms. The barcrest BigCheese which is a £25 jp is mpu5 which means it cant be emulated, along with other barcrests that are now in pubs etc.

Damn Big Cheese, although I have to admit that before I quit I went at one with £100 stake, and got 3 IMs within the first 25. In case you didn't know, the IM is shown by all of the mice and crap flashing. Its pretty obvious!

Barcrest Benitaeo mentioned that a clone of The Big Cheese 16 nudges for £1.60 is Top Dog. Well, I've played Top Dog and found the gameplay to be very similar to Vindaloot which you CAN download here. So maybe The Big Cheese is like Vindaloot?

Thats one thing I noticed, is that the Barcrests such as Big Cheese, Top Dog, e.t.c, are pretty close to Count Yer Cash [Mazooma] / Vindaloot [JPM] / and Jackpot Junction [BFM].
The Big Cheese doesn't have a belt reel, and neither does Top Dog. If you need pics, I will paste a link but not the pics as Barcrest already think I breach their 'intellectual property rights'

Super Star :

Hi Flyer :

Seems that the manufacturers liked the idea of worthless superboards, NO nudge wins above £1.60 [unless bloody happy], and dropping in low value wins when booted off the boards [I once, when High Flyer first came out, got booted off, got a cherry win, gambled, exchanged, got booted off, cherry win, e.t.c 4 times in a row
